You live for the open road. Highways are the moat to your traveling castle. After so many campgrounds and so many memories.. What would you say to someone pulling in their rig for the first time?ο»Ώ

Martha C. left us a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 review on TripAdvisor last fall: "We really like KOA Campgrounds and this one rates at the top. Very friendly and helpful managers and the grounds were immaculate. We look forward to staying their again. Access to this KOA was very easy from the freeway which is greatly appreciated when you are tired and ready to get off the road."

Many campers wait until Memorial Day Weekend to unleash their inner camper but we have it on good authority that the veterans plan their getaways a few weeks earlier. Why? Because we're offering a FREE night to anyone who wants to Come Camp & Care with us on May 9th & 10th! http://ow.ly/vEnj1ο»Ώ

How do you like your marshmallows? Warmed up a little, with a nice golden brown coating or fried to a crisp?ο»Ώ

A great campground is like a four leaf clover, hard to find & lucky to have. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! πŸ€ο»Ώ

KOA TERRE HAUTE,IN ------The park is fine to stay a day or two, but if you are in the area and want to visit with family you need to be prepared to pay up. If you have visitors you have to register and pay a fee before or upon arrival and no refunds if your visitors don't show up. They give you a discount for registering your guest before or at the time of arrival but if you register those guess after you park, fees double. Seniors over 60 $4.00, Adults 18-59 $7.00, Youth 6-17 $9.00, infants and toddlers $2.00 each. Want to swim, more fees, even if you don't swim and just view the kids you still pay $7.00 each. If you rent a motel room, there are no fees for your family or guest to visit. I will never stay here again, ever. The $49.67 is not worth it. If you check out late another $5.00. They talked me right out of any future stays here.

MY HARLEY BROKE DOWN AND I WAS ON MY OWN LITERALLY. THE STAFF SAW TO MY EVERY NEED, INCLUDING MAKING RUNS TO WALMART FOR ME, SECURING A RENTED TRUCK TO GET HOME TO IDAHO, AND MADE SURE I FELT SAFE AND SECURE. I WAS TENTING FOR SEVEN DAYS AND HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. PLAN ON RETURNING NEXT YEAR AS PART OF MY TRIP BACK EAST.
Liked: THE OWNERS AND STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. I SPENT A WEEK HERE AND THEY MADE ME FEEL LIKE PART OF THE FAMILY., THE GROUNDS ARE WELL MAINTAINED, THE CAFE, RESTROOMS, STORE, AND POOL WERE VERY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED.

We recently camped at the Terre Haute KOA for a long weekend. Several years ago, we camped there many times and were very happy with the campground and after this year, we will never go back! The fee structure has changed - we had to pay for EACH of our kids over 6 yrs old and the cost of the site was high to begin with. The staff was not overly friendly and there are so many rules the campground obviously doesn't want families with children there. Think twice before you go to this campground!
