One of South West London's best known riverside pubs with great beer and wine, excellent fresh cooked to order food in the restaurant and friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere.

1786 gastropub with a wood-burning stove, riverside terrace and outdoor barbecue kitchen.- Google
"The foie gras terrine is excellent, though they never give you enough toast."
"Great pub with quality food both in the bar and restaurant."

A good mix of corner pub, restaurant and out door BBQ in summer. Great quiz on Wednesdays. One of the best burgers in London. The scotch eggs are rather good too. The usual Young's beer.

So this is not a bad pub. It can get a little rowdy on a sunny bank holiday. The restaurant is nicely separated from the main pub which adds to a nice "sit down meal" experience.

Big out door decking area which was ace for a summer party. Food was alright and served straight onto the decked area. Gets a bit lively in the evenings, with a seriously diverse clientele. Niffs a bit in the summer what with the Thames and near by sewage works!

Great pub with quality food both in the bar and restaurant. The staple dishes like the pies and burgers are fantastic. Beer section is limited though - it wouldn't hurt to serve a quality Weissbier beer for example. The draught choices are more akin to a wetherspoons than a gastropub. Avoid Saturday and Sunday nights unless you want to mingle with the pretentious tits who come from far and wide with the sole aim of getting completely mashed.

Great location, good atmosphere and building. Good food too. Downside is there is a high turnover of staff so service is often poor due to many inexperienced bar staff and beer quality often poor too. Had to take back more flat pints in there than I can remember...

The Ship which adds to the attraction. Food is still good but perhaps not what it was a year or so ago. You need to get there early to get a table or be patient and nice people both sides of the bar - a good mix of clientele.

Good atmosphere. Excellent burger but a bit pricey. Nice for outside drinks.
