Great pub with quality food both in the bar and restaurant. The staple dishes like the pies and burgers are fantastic. Beer section is limited though - it wouldn't hurt to serve a quality Weissbier beer for example. The draught choices are more akin to a wetherspoons than a gastropub.
Avoid Saturday and Sunday nights unless you want to mingle with the pretentious tits who come from far and wide with the sole aim of getting completely mashed.
A great place to drink the summer evenings away outside in the sun. The food is good, the staff are friendly and they have a good selection of drinks. The downsides are it gets very very busy, so can be hard to get a table/queuing for a while to get a drink and it can be a pain to get to if you don't live near by
Perfect gastropub all year round. During summer, sit outside on the many benches and enjoy BBQ or during winter, snug up by one of the many fire places and enjoy a pub quiz. Food is high quality gastropub fare.
