Really fresh and unique food with bold flavors. I've read reviews complaining about poor service and have to agree. Even for a Monday night with only three tables to wait on, it was like pulling teeth to gat the servers attention. That said, the food is awesome with a HUGE menu selection and worth at least one visit. It's pricey though. I'd say worth it, but not regularly.

Great idea along with Chipolte and Na Naf, offering a choice of a sandwich or a bowl. Bowls are offered with rice or salad, and customized toppings. Portions are plentiful and delicious. They have vegetarian options as well as carnivorous ones. The meat grape leaves are among the best I've had and it's rare to find them. I really want to love this place, but the service is sorely lacking, even for a cafeteria style place. They hire high school kids who have no knowledge of customer service whatsoever. I went in for a salad bowl, and they simply said sorry we're out of salad. Other times I've ordered takeout, and they have forgotten the salad dressing in their salad bowls. I'll go back because the food is good, but with competition for Highland Park dollars in eateries being so tough, I hope they address the customer service issue.

I was absolutely taken aback by the price you pay for the amount of food that you get. $12 for a gyro? 4 ounces of meat piled with lettuce, and scant amount of feta that had no flavor. For 7 dollars in Chicago you can get a gyro piled high with meat. I will say that the collared were outstanding. You get four of them for $8 and they were filled with meat and nicely seasoned. Aside from the value, the worst experience was my service. I got a waitress named Tina who couldn't wait to get me out of the restaurant. She didn't ask me how my meal was, she didn't ask me if I wanted dessert. I needed an extra napkin, and she was nowhere to be found until my meal was finished . The minute I had finished my gyro, with 2 appetizers left on my table she brought my check over. I told her I would like to order a salad to go. She looked at me like I was from another planet. I had to repeat it a couple of times. I have gotten friendlier service from a body search at the airport. I would never come back to this restaurant. I was traveling out of town and this was my first time at this place. Cannot recommend it at all. Overpriced not flavorful, terrible service. I watched other waitresses behaving similarly and people were paying these prices for crappy service. Your mileage may vary
