We had wanted to stay here for many years - it was always a dream. The dream became a nightmare though. While dinner at the Shoals restaurant was excellent the hotel itself should be torn down by the health department. The room was filthy (sheets and spread severely stained and towels were threadbare and the carpet stained and cigarette burns everywhere), the electrical sketchy at best (half the light bulbs were burnt out and the bed side lights flicker if you move the cord), no fans and no window screen so you can open the window for ventilation... The whole room sloped toward the ocean, the baseboards were falling off, the plumbing varied from ice cold to scalding hot with no notice... Unfortunately I could go on and on, but the short is that this Inn is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!
