Dancing on the Edge is a British mini-series from 2013. Set in 1930s London, the series is about a black jazz band that becomes entangled in the aristocratic world of London.
I review the British mini-series "Dancing on the Edge" starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Matthew Goode and Joanna Vanderham in a story of jazz and murder.

Sometimes you just get tired of scouring the streaming services in search of a film starring women or directed by a woman. Then you watch a comedy and hope for the best. Ashby is part comedy, part coming of age, part contract killer, and part end-of-life…
Ashby is a comedy starring Mickey Rourke as a semi-retired assassin living next door to Ed (Nat Wolff) and his single mom (Sarah Silverman).

Ghostbusters is awesome. Don’t let anybody rain on your Ghostbusters parade. It’s hilarious. The special effects are excellent. The dialog is ridiculous. The actors are wonderful. It’s awesome.
I kind of loved "Ghostbusters." Okay, I really loved "Ghostbusters." Hilarious, action packed, exciting, sprinkled with glimpses from Ghostbusters past.

How does Mark Ruffalo do it? Every time I see one of his movies I think, “This is Mark Ruffalo’s best performance ever.” Then I see another of his movies and I have the same feeling all over again. Welcome to Begin Again with Mark Ruffalo and Keira…
My review of "Begin Again" starring Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightley. Set in New York City and filled with music, it's a story of discovery and redemption.

In the Valley of Elah from 2007 is a searing condemnation of the war in Iraq. The story is a mystery about a father and a cop who investigate the son’s murder just outside a mythical Army base in New Mexico.
The 2007 film "In the Valley of Elah" is about a father and a cop who work together to discover who killed a soldier just back from Iraq.

I’ve tried several times to leave comments on posts such as the most recent “Why It Matters That Male Film Critics Vastly Outnumber Female Film Critics” at Bitch Media. The remarks never seem to make it into the comments. My comments are rather lengthy,…
Why are female entertainment media critics and reviewers so hard to find? I have an opinion on that from a blogger's point of view.

The Intervention features a big ensemble cast in a situation likened to The Big Chill. Instead of a funeral, the motivation for this get together among friends is to suggest one of the couples get a divorce! That’s the intervention.
Watch the trailer for "The Intervention" written and directed by Clea DuVall. Cobie Smulders, Natasha Lyonne, and Melanie Lynskey star.

Lotus Dragon is an excellent place to learn Tai Chi and other traditional Chinese martial arts. The teacher, Master Dug Corpolongo, has a great deal of experience and has achieved a very high level in the field of martial arts. His teaching style is laid back and gentle. He works effectively with everyone from the rankest of beginners to students with many years experience.
