My dogs listen far better to Rebecca than myself, and every time I pick them up or they are dropped off I have to drag them to my car or out of hers kicking and screaming. They couldn't care less about me and would much rather spend their lives exploring, and having fun with their friends, running and exhausting themselves. I have been on some adventures with her and the pack and my dogs listen to her more than me on the hike. I could turn around and leave and they would follow her. As long as you are confident that your dog is fully off leash trained and in good health this is the only "mountain camp" like it anywhere. Back country hiking, swimming, climbing, running, sniffing, playing and wrestling with other dog makes for the best time ever and finding the occasional scratch is expected since they are having FUN in the wilderness. They are dogs. The dogs make regular friends and favorite other dogs, and get to snuggle with them warming by the fire place and on the couch resting off their activities of the day. Love the photos of their adventures posted it makes me know they are enjoying themselves and not sitting in a cold concrete kennel listening to cries of 80 other dogs and bored out of their minds feeling like they are in trouble because they have to crap on the floor. They love Mountain Pals, and dogs don't get that excited and crazy over seeing someone that they are not happy to see.
