Apple Just Had The Most Profitable Quarter Of Any Company Ever.
Apple had a pretty good quarter. And by “pretty good”, I mean it was the biggest quarter in history. And not just for Apple. For any company. Ever.
Until today, Russia’s Gazprom (the largest natural gas extractor in the world) held the record at $16.2 billion in a quarter. Apple now holds the record: $18.04 billion in profit, fiscal Q1 of 2015.
Absolutely. Insane.
For reference, that means Apple makes around $8.3 million dollars per hour in profit (24 hours a day.)
Of the current Top 20 record holding earners, 15 are Oil/Gas producers — primarily ExxonMobil and Shell. The other 5 are all Apple, over various quarters.

iOS 7 Feature - Control Centre

One of the many great features in iOS 7 is control centre.

Control centre will let the user toggle important settings on and off easily by swiping up from the bottom of the iPhone or iPad to reveal the control centre.

This can even be done in the lock screen, handy if you need a flash light fast or set that important alarm.

iOS 7 will be out around September/October.

IOS 7 feature - Airdrop

Airdrop is another great feature of iOS 7.

It allows the user to instantly share with anyone around you that has airdrop enabled on there device.

No need to bump phones together airdrop works by having a certain range.

Airdrop is available in iOS 7 and should be released around September/October.

"Try to become the company that will put your company out of business."

Great quote about leadership by Ken Chenault, CEO of +American Express , speaking right now at the Facebook fMC conference.

Do you think this same thinking can be applied to our own small businesses and careers?
