I was expecting way too much based on reviews. Altho i liked the mac and cheese - it fell short of my expectations being that it was highly recommended by loads of people. Great and friendly staff. The chef is a bit rude to the servers but the servers are great. Great coffee as well!

Great beer selection (I had one with the word "butt" in it, hahaha). Tomato soup was tasty and everyone seemed to like their food. Portion sizes were all over the place - we had a giant pile of shishito peppers, but the "Dip Trio" was tiny little ramekins served with eight small slices of pita. I had the Kickshaw Okonomiyaki...which isn't an okonomiyaki (and trust me, I have gotten off trains in Japan and rescheduled flights to eat okonomiyaki). It isn't that it was bad - just that it was more of a flat pancake with okonomi sauce and mayo on it, not like any okonomiyaki or monjayaki that I've ever seen. If I went again, I'd go for the grilled cheese - not the other options.

Really great place to sit, have breakfast, drink some coffee or a beer, read a book, do some writing and over-all be an insufferable millenial. I do it all the time. Eat it, generation X. My go-to when I have some time off during the week. Big bottled and canned beer selection, a small but nice curated rotating tap list.

This place has been recommended as a coffee house when I decided to move to Astoria. Truly I enjoy great coffee there. Matcha latte they serve is also superb. Their meals are wonderful too. Their fresh ingredients, clean display & taste are very good // A little loud with the talkative crowd and music at times. Yet a dimmed and cozy place for writers, artists, and others alike to refresh their thoughts over good drinks and foods.

This was one of those places that announced to the world that Astoria wasn't just for spinach pie, bakeries and gaseterias that sell mango flavored suckers with a lime and chilly coating. Cute and cozy with industrial chic decor and great art on the walls? Check. Great coffee and drink selection. Check. Food and service, eh. It's not crazy good, but it's certainly not bad. It's definitely a great addition to the neighborhood and a lot of fun for either morning or evening time.

I've yet to find something here that I don't like. Nicely curated beer menu (including some dark beers) and grilled cheese that will make your knees weak. Seriously. Try it.

Went last night for coffee and dessert. Beefy light on dessert. Two whole options. Both were tasty although expansive. The staff didn't seem all that thrilled to be there. I'm glad I finally tried this place because I've heard about it from several places but I doubt I'll be back.
