"... 'Wonderful Things'

"I don't know why some folks associate 'being religious' with moping around, brooding on the futility of it all and acting as if their pet canary died.

"I understand dragging through most days; feeling tired and guilty. Decades of undiagnosed major depression saw to that, and that's another topic.

"But we're in a universe filled with wonders: a beautiful, ordered cosmos; unfolding in accord with physical laws which we are beginning to understand...."

I'm the guest of honor at a routine-for-folks-my-age diagnostic procedure tomorrow. Getting ready for it has, as expected, left me a bit less peppy than usual. No problem, and I expect to be back to 'okay' tomorrow around this time. So - - - good night, and may God bless.

Tuesday's mostly in the past. Dishes are washed, tomorrow's setup done. Good night, and may God bless.

Upcoming changes in Google Plus will probably make the service unavailable for folks like me. It's their network, their decision, and I've talked about it before.

I'm moving my online 'front porch' to MeWe.com ( https://mewe.com/i/brian.gill1 )

No pressure, but if you've enjoyed seeing my stuff, or found it interesting - I hope you look for what I'm doing over on MeWe.

I will post three parts of this to enjoy the view of paintings better This is a painting chosen during an very interesting interview with Chinese poet Xi Chuan. The artwork was to reflect the Dynasty he felt the old poetry reflected and his goal after life changing experiences made him feel the need to break people away from the traditional style and create his own way of how it is written to provide a more in depth and balanced view on life : positivity vs negative, light vs dark, innocence vs experienced. Very amazing person to hear.
