The December 2014 President's Message
To all OEIS Members and Prospective Members,
I am delighted to announce that the week of December 8, 2014 the Outpatient Endovascular and Interventional Society just formalized a relationship with The Center for Association Resources to manage our society. After many months of a long search process, The Center was chosen from 13 candidates. The CEO and Principal, Robert O. Patterson, JD and his staff have over 65 years of combined experience managing societies including a variety of medical societies. Rob is our new OEIS Executive Director and The Center is headquartered in the Chicago area with an office also in Washington, DC. The Center is also fully accredited as an association management company by the AMC Institute, one of only 79 such firms in the country. To read more about The Center for Association Resources click here.

On behalf of the OEIS Board of Directors, I also want to thank all at Vascular Management Associates (VMA) who have provided interim administrative support for the last 7 months. We are currently in a transitional phase again, but we are very confident that The Center will enable OEIS to grow more rapidly and execute on our strategic goals. We know that we have much to do and remain focused and excited about the growth and direction of the society.

Jeff Carr, MD
President, Outpatient Endovascular and Interventional Society
