Prophet Uebert Angel founder and president has been involved in case of fraud regarding a Bentley and the promise of “a three fold return.” Businessman Ndabazinengi Shava says he gave the car to Prophet Angel last year to sow “a seed into his life.” According to Shava it was promised he would ...

I’m a pro-tither.

I advocate it and encourage people to do it. I have seen tremendous blessings as a result of it. One blessing that I’ve seen is the improvement of my marriage.

Before I was a consistent tither my marriage was on its last leg. My wife was pregnant with our 2nd child and was considering leaving. She loved me but with the tight finances, the tense atmosphere, my bad attitude, and my constant complaining it was getting to her...

My life was a total mess. I couldn’t make ends meet. I had trouble holding a steady job. My wife (God bless her) loved me, but lost almost all respect for me. Our marriage was on its last leg. She was pregnant with our 2nd child and was considering leaving.

So I went to God for advice. I said, “God my life is not going the way I want. I don’t know how to fix it. What do I do?” A second later I heard the answer:..it blew my mind...

This infographic shows the three tithes represented in the Old Covenant. As believers our mandate is to be generous, which is why 10% is a great floor but not a great ceiling....

I really like the 7 year sabbatical. There's a message there! But as for me #circumcide  (the one Paul fought against) and #tithecide are very similar follies. The originals gave 100%!! The law is the law. Grace is grace

There are people who don’t have the money to tithe…and so they tithe with their time. To be honest, from one point it does make sense: if you don’t have the money tithe your time…God understands.

Right?

My answer...
Cam you tithe your time. Most people will say "Yes. Of course you can. What kind of stupid question is that? Who are you by the way? And why are you asking these questions?" But I say no. Find out why.

I know what its like to tithe from unemployment money and see NOTHING happen at all. It is extremely discouraging.

I would still encourage the person to keep tithing when times are hard. Keep testing God.

There are numerous benefits to testing God with during hard times. Namely...
You're in debt. Little money to pay the bills. And not sure what to do. Should you keep tithing when times are hard? Some say yes. Some say no. What say ye?

I recently got promoted.

I used to be an assistant branch manager at a Fortune 500 company, now I’m promoted to a branch manager. Being a new manager has a few perks including increased pay, greater responsibilities, and a company car.

In this post I wanted to share a few of the lessons learned through a series of rapid fire promotions

But I am somebody who has seen their own life change as a result of  giving. Not only that, but I do believe in the mission of the global church–the one called to lead, serve, and share. Regardless of its imperfections and missteps, it has great value in the eyes of One who died for it.

So, if it needs helps with the bills I think its only fair I lend a hand.
So yes, I’m a pro-tither!

I’m a tither. Despite the controversy surrounding it, I’m a huge advocate of it. And, honestly, before I got serious about it my life was a total mess. I couldn’t make ends meet. I had trouble holding a steady job. My wife (God bless her) loved me, but lost almost all respect for me. Our marriage was on its last leg.

So I went to God for advice. I said, “God my life is not going the way I want. I don’t know how to fix it. What do I do?” A second later I heard the answer...it blew my mind...

Tithing  is indeed found in the Old Testament and incorporated in the Old Covenant of Law. Notice though the difference between “covenant” and  “testament.” The Hebrew word “berith” is translated “covenant.” It carries the idea of a one sided promise of grant; or in other words it’s a guarantee which a more favored person gives a less favored one...

What most people don’t know about John Rockefeller was that he was a deeply religious man devoted to God, the church, and his family. He gave away more than “required” in response to the needs of society and his love for God.

I'm glad this was an encouragement. The one thing I can tell you from my experience is this: God is faithful to His Promises!
