No frills just a solid banh mi sandwich. We had the grilled chicken and it was as good as the best we have in boston.

I had a delicious Warm crunchy Vietnamese pork sandwich baguette, reasonably priced at $4.50, very quick service. Will be getting another one for breakfast and lunch in the morning.

#1 BBQ Pork $4.50. The bread is a little hard sometimes, but depending on my mood, I like it. If you leave it in fridge overnight and reheat it in the microwave for 1 minute, the bread softens up a bit. Either way, whether you eat it fresh or a day old, the sandwich still tastes great. They really pack the meat, pickled carrots and cucumbers really tight. After ordering the sandwich to be saved overnight for lunch, I have become an expert when it comes to reheating it in the microwave. I leave it in the microwave for exactly 53 seconds. The bread is not too hard or soft, and the meat is warmed up but not extremely hot (Your microwave time might vary depending the power).

Love that there is a random counter of jewelry on the side of this Banh Mi shop. Doesn't get more Asian than that. I ordered the BBQ pork banh mi. The bread was a little too hard and crunchy for my taste. The BBQ pork was really oily and pretty sparse. The pickled veggies were good though. and the sandwich is really huge and only about $5. I also ordered the shredded pork spring rolls. The shredded pork was also really sparse.. it was basically just wrapped cabbage and bay leaves so needless to say it was really bland and the peanut sauce on the side was a little too sweet. Slightly disappointed...the hunt for a delicious vietnamese spot in the city continues

The best of the best Vietnamese sandwiches as they bring the most authentic in all of New York and very generous portions in ingredients. There was one incident in which they were very accommodating in that they ran out of bread and three customers including myself were in the store wanting to buy THEIR sandwich. I then suggested that I would willingly go outside to buy just the bread though only I wanted their ingredients. They agreed to my request and there we go: Three more sandwiches for us to enjoy and three more sandwiches they profited from. They also make excellent coffee fried appetizers and deserts. Way to go and they've been in the business for over 20 years. Way to go.

I must say, this is by far the best Vietnamese food I have ever had. I ordered Bánh Mì sandwich. The price was reasonable. I highly recommend this place.
