Hahahahahaha! Turning down sweet, sweet ad revenue for the chance that attentive viewers might "tweet or blog" about how good the station is being? FAT CHANCE.
TV stations should stop the flood of deceptive ads that distort candidates' records by refusing to air them, Kathleen Hall Jamieson says.

Glad to see that more people are able to join today; don't worry, we really didn't do much without you all here.

I had been preparing to write my second blog entry when the Google+ fun broke out. It's finished now. (3500 words in my first 2 blog posts; that should come down somewhat over the next few.)

How low must your ridership be that you pay celebrities to use the service. This would explain the hastily made Cleveland tourism video.

Yup. All else being equal, I don't want a house right now, or maybe even during the 2010s, but eventually, yes IF I have enough money.

On the other hand, if long-term interest rates keep bringing down mortgage rates, I may be one of the lucky ones with "down payment ability". An awful lot of my peers don't/won't have that.
It's sort of amusing reading various articles about, for example, generational divides in the housing market, otherwise known as "young people don't think they'll ever be able to buy a house." There's too much of a desire to attribute to preferences instead of income, prices, and access to credit. I'm not saying preferences for such things can't change, but right now what's happening, both in the US and much of Europe, is that younger people are ...

Let's christen this stream with a celebration of the Phillies taking the series from the Red Sox. Going for the sweep tomorrow!
To say the least, this isn't how Ruben Amaro Jr. drew it up back in March: Vance Worley gives way to Michael Stutes before Antonio Bastardo closes it out. Against the Red Sox, no less. But in impr...

I guess today was a good day to pick up Bastardo for the fantasy squad. (Still testing all of the + functionalities. Bear with me.)
