This is Great, just what the Doctor Ordered. Cancel those games, and they will learn Hazing is wrong. Its not some fun and games thing. Needs to be stopped and stopped now. It has lead to death in the past, and if Colleges won't stop it, then cancel their games as well.
Hazing inflicted by older players on younger ones at a conditioning camp has led to the cancellation of an Oregon high school's football season, investigations by authorities and calls for healing

The LA Times reports from Thursday’s press conference, "What you have here is a cyberattack," said Gautum Dutta, an attorney for Honda's campaign. "You have the theft of confidential, proprietary information that's then used against the supporters of a rival campaign. That's un-American and it's illegal."

That afternoon, Khanna campaign manager Brian Parvishahi resigned from his position.

“The lawsuit filed in court is incredibly serious. The Khanna campaign violated both the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and the Economic Espionage Act. Instead of explaining the crime and agreeing to cease its illegal activities, the Khanna campaign decided to duck and cover,” said Vedant Patel, Communications Director for the Honda Campaign. “Ro Khanna has a long, checkered history of failing to follow rules and a proven history of breaking laws. The public deserves more from Mr. Khanna than more denials and distortions. Mr. Parvizshahi’s resignation is clear indication that Ro Khanna knew his campaign’s activities were illegal. The facts, through clear digital fingerprints, are that Ro Khanna and his staff had access to important and confidential files related to the Honda Campaign and were using these files illegally in clear violation of federal law.”

Rep. Mike Honda supporters across Silicon Valley are having “Aha!” moments as news comes to light of the lawsuit against Ro Khanna for Congress for hacking into sensitive fund raising data and using it to contact Honda supporters. The LA Times...

In any normal election year, we’d compare the two presidential candidates side by side on the issues. But this is not a normal election year. A comparison like that would be an empty exercise in a race where one candidate — our choice, Hillary Clinton — has a record of service and a raft of pragmatic ideas, and the other, Donald Trump, discloses nothing concrete about himself or his plans while promising the moon and offering the stars on layaway.

But this endorsement would also be an empty exercise if it merely affirmed the choice of Clinton supporters. We’re aiming instead to persuade those of you who are hesitating to vote for Mrs. Clinton — because you are reluctant to vote for a Democrat, or for another Clinton, or for a candidate who might appear, on the surface, not to offer change from an establishment that seems indifferent and a political system that seems broken.

Running down the other guy won’t suffice to make that argument. The best case for Hillary Clinton cannot be, and is not, that she isn’t Donald Trump.

The best case is, instead, about the challenges this country faces, and Mrs. Clinton’s capacity to rise to them.

Clinton would be an excellent president, tracing her long public career from her earliest days as an advocate for children who had no voice through her time as secretary of state, when she pushed for sanctions against Iran that ultimately led to last year’s historic nuclear accord. The Times doesn’t shy away from noting Clinton’s mistakes, such as her vote in favor of the Iraq war, but it also offers a stinging rebuke to the overheated coverage of her emails, saying that in light of “the real challenges that will occupy the next president,” Clinton’s email server “looks like a matter for the help desk.”

With just over six weeks to go before Election Day, the New York Times editorial board has issued a powerful endorsement of Hillary Clinton’s campaign for president, and there’s nothing half-...

When you think of a tiny dog, like a Jack Russel, being thrown into a yard full of lionesses, you might immediately think of the scary possibilities. Those cute tiny dogs would probably become a lion’s toy, or find himself scared in a corner being preyed on. But, in this video, you’ll be shocked that that...

“The goal would be to get veterans straight off the streets and hand them the keys to their full furnished tiny house (stocked with food), without the veteran having to go through the hassles of waiting for gas, electric, deposits, inspections, and voucher processes,” VCP wrote on their website about the project. “We would then stabilize them to educate and support them on reintegrating into society all while treating and addressing their housing barriers as we move them into permanent housing.”

They’re making a neighborhood of tiny houses just for veterans and it’s going to include 50 homes!

The Trump campaign denies that Carter Page has a position in the campaign and yet, Trump names Page as one of his foreign policy advisors during a Washington Post opinion staff interview in March of this year. US Intel is looking into Page’s dealings with Putin government officials.

Donald Trump, a man who once boasted having “the world's greatest memory,” has suddenly forgotten the role that was to be played by a controversial businessman he named to help guide his foreign policy.
“He has no role,” said Steven Cheung, the campaign’s director of rapid response, when ABC News asked about the report. “We are not aware of any of his activities, past or present.”
Back in March, in a recorded meeting with The Washington Post editorial board, Trump named Page as one of five members of his foreign policy team. Page, a former energy executive in Russia, described himself an expert on the Caspian Sea region and economic development in former Soviet states.

We’ve heard you’re going to be announcing your foreign policy team shortly… Any you can share with us?

TRUMP: Well, I hadn’t thought of doing it, but if you want I can give you some of the names… Walid Phares, who you probably know, PhD, adviser to the House of Representatives caucus, and counter-terrorism expert; Carter Page, PhD; George Papadopoulos, he’s an energy and oil consultant, excellent guy; the Honorable Joe Schmitz, [former] inspector general at the Department of Defense; [retired] Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg; and I have quite a few more. But that’s a group of some of the people that we are dealing with. We have many other people in different aspects of what we do, but that’s a representative group.

Trump’s ties with the Putin government, the Russian Oligarchy and shady figures like Sater are very deep folks. This isn't something to take lightly, since a Trump presidency would compromise our Russian foreign policy for Trump’s own gain.

Trump and his campaign team are lying and it’s good to see ABC News following up and calling them out. Let’s hope we see more of this kind of reporting.

This is getting real good. ABC News has now followed up with the Trump campaign about their report on his ties to the the Russian government, the Russian Oligarchy, a business associate with ties to the Russian Mafia and Carter Page’s dealings...

Kristof acknowledges that the normal journalistic practice when controversy is involved is to give voice to both sides of the argument and let the journalistic audience, be they readers or viewers, decide. But he acknowledges that this political cycle is very different and is concerned

If a known con artist peddles a potion that he claims will make people lose 25 pounds and enjoy a better sex life, we don’t just quote the man and a critic; we find ways to signal to readers that he’s a fraud. Why should it be different when the con man runs for president?

We owe it to our audiences to signal that most of us have never met a national candidate as ill-informed, deceptive or evasive as Trump.

Our job is not stenography, but truth-telling. As we move to the debates, let’s remember that to expose charlatans is not partisanship, but simply good journalism.

that we in the media (particularly some in cable television) have enabled a charlatan by handing him the microphone and not adequately fact-checking what he says.

Of course we should cover Clinton’s sins, but when the public believes that a mythomaniac like Trump is the straight shooter, we owe it to ourselves and the country to wrestle with knotty questions of false equivalence.

In our effort to avoid partisanship, we let our country down.
and then this:

We are normalizing lies and extremism.
Yet playing it straight does not preclude adding value with journalistic judgment — such as, in extreme cases, calling out a lie when we see it. And I believe that debate moderators can press Trump when he lies or evades.

We have finally reached the point where journalists are wrestling with how to fulfill their professional responsibilities when dealing with Donald Trump. The question I used for my subject appears in the first paragraph of an op ed for the Sunday New...
