"The server and barista were super friendly when they served my drink and meal."

Came for lunch and had an excellent experience. The waiter, Chad, began by asking us if we were familiar with vegan (we were) and raw food (sort of) and explained more about the food preparation etc.. While there is a "hipster" vibe, it was certainly not pretentious. I ordered the "lasagna" with side salad (ginger dressing to die for) and he had avocado sandwich. We split the cheesecake for dessert. My boyfriend had not had many vegan meals but was looking to cut out dairy from his life. He remarked that if we had been served the cheesecake in a "regular" restaurant, we would not have known it was dairy free. Everything we had was outstanding. Nice ambiance. Reasonable juice prices that come in glass bottles (a bonus). As a cancer survivor that hates to cook, eliminating meat and dairy without having to spend time preparing myself, the Living Kitchen will become part of my regular go-to restaurants. Highly recommend to vegans and carnivores alike!

This place is very interesting and if your diet has limited your restaurant options this should be at the top of your list. I'll try anything. The shredded vegetables that looked and tasted like pasta were really delicious. The sushi like dish was very imaginative and had lots of potential. I wish the wine list had more options and it was a little pricey. The decor it's minimalistic and a little cold but my daughter loved it.

Food tastes basically the same. It is not about being a vegi restaurant. The food has a distinct lack of herbs and spices that would give it flavor. the icing on the cake was how ill I was the next morning after eating here!

A love story..... Charlotte is one of my favorite cities, so when I moved to the west coast.. I had to also leave Luna's. I have been a handful of times to this location and can say without a shadow of a doubt that Luna's is in my top three favorite vegan restaurants of all time. Fun memory: I brought my mom here last year, I wasn't sure if she would be a fangirl like me. However after taking her first bite we came to a complete silence and didn't talk until we were done scarfing down our delicious meals. She loved the avocado & basil sandwich! Favorite items: Mock tuna salad sandwich on a collard wrap. Fresh made ginger ale. Cookies & milk for dessert. There are too many items to just choose one. They just opened a location in Raleigh. Of course right after we moved away, ha-ha.

The fire millet burger with broccoli Waldorf was AMAZING! Great portion too. If you can't hAndle spice, ask for hot sauce on the side. The wait staff there is excellent and amazing atmosphere!

The food was amazing. I'm not a vegetarian and I liked everything that we ordered. I had the lunasagna and my wife had the avocado basil sandwich. The bread for her sandwich was the best I've ever had.

Excellent food! Don't let the vegan fool you. I had a filling and incredibly tasty 3 course meal. The lasagna gave me life!!

Our number one choice for vegan dinner! I always go raw but my husband likes their veggie burgers. The price is worth it. Don't forget dessert!!
