New Hampshire’s Free State Project finally “triggered.” That means 20,000 liberty-minded people said they’d move to NH to try to create a critical mass of voters who will support liberty. Should I move there? Maybe NH can be a model for real freedom. We debate that on tonight's show "Live Free or Die" at 8pm on Fox Business.

New Hampshire’s primary is in one week. My next show will cover the “Live Free or Die” state. Your thoughts? Does NH help the liberty movement?

Most presidential candidates pander to Iowa’s ethanol crapitalists. Kudos to Ted Cruz and Rand Paul for daring to point out that the federal mandate forcing gas stations to sell ethanol is an unfair boondoggle. I’m happy that two candidates stand up against crony capitalism, even in Iowa. More on my show “Debating Our Future” tonight at 8pm on Fox Business. #Election2016

Stupid government rules make school-shopping a crime. I interviewed one mother who was arrested in Ohio because she wanted to give her kids a better education. The real crime is when parents and kids are forced into bad government options. #SchoolChoiceWeek

Because the federal government pays for it (with our tax dollars and national debt that we are somehow responsible for) the federal government thinks it should have a say in the education of our children. It used to be locally paid for with local community and state funds, and controlled at the local community level. There is still a little local control but it is overridden by the teachers union and federal government in many areas of education.
If you want your child taught what you want them to know, you have to home school, and jump through what ever hoops the state puts in your way AND dedicate your time effort and money towards that education. Time effort and MONEY that you are not reimbursed for in taxes, social or governmental respect, or anything except, oddly results - results that exactly reflect the time, effort, and money you put into your child's education- unlike the public schools that seem to get not significantly better no matter how much more money we throw at them. And note that your tax moneys still get given to the public schools if you home school...

Teachers unions fight choice. One told me: “Competition isn’t for kids!” I disagree. ‪#‎SchoolChoiceWeek‬.

Politicians are bad teachers. Bernie Sanders is clueless about economics AND gets his facts wrong. He says Americans work longer hours for lower wages. He’s just wrong. I’ll debunk more ‪#‎EconMyths‬ tonight at 5pm (not my usual 8pm) on Fox Business.

Politicians never apologize. They charge forward. Their solution to failed government investment is more government.

Most 2016 presidential candidates want big government their way.

Before Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans’ school system was one of the worst in the country. After Katrina hit, it was rebuilt and lots of charter schools opened. Students’ test scores soared. ‪#‎SchoolChoiceWeek‬

Cars run on fuel. Politicians run on votes, and they'll do almost anything to get them. That includes supporting mandates that force us to use ethanol, a fuel made from corn that Iowa farmers grow.

Public Schools are prisons for children. Who benefits from Public Schools? Basically whoever gets paid via the funding for Public Schools. This includes everyone from the teachers and administrators to the contractors who constructed the buildings.
Of course, all facets of the State are like this. The "Criminal Justice System" exists to benefit judges, lawyers, prison guards, prison administrators, etc.
