Introduction
Innovation journalist Janet Rae-Dupree owns and operates Unboxed Media, through which she covers innovation and creativity, emerging technology and science for a number of online and print publications. A 2006 Knight Fellow at Stanford University, Rae-Dupree previously was on staff at U.S. News & World Report, BusinessWeek, the L.A. Times, the San Jose Mercury News and a number of smaller publications. Her award-winning freelance work has appeared in CIO Insight, the Silicon Valley Business Journal, the Cleveland Clinic Magazine, Business 2.0, Fast Company, ONE and Contribute magazines. In September, 2007, her first book was released: "Anatomy & Physiology Workbook for Dummies." In 1993, she shared in a Pulitzer Prize awarded to the staff of the L.A. Times; hers was one of 26 bylines on stories submitted to the Pulitzer jury.
