Hey @gerryjdvideo, any chance I can see what you recorded at Harbor Loop last night? I was playing bass with the second band...

Ah, I remember these shows well - this whole run, actually! This was my first serious tour following the boys. The Horn Tour is still my yardstick for all things Phish. Come to think of it, these  shots MIGHT be from my own VHS recordings of the event! Gotta track that down... I did Amy's Farm too, but those tapes vanished.

It's not for everyone, you need to know your kid, and in a conventional school setting, small classes and really good teachers can make a huge difference. And there ARE not-so-hot Montessori teachers as well. But in general, the fact that my daughter is reading well above her grade level, had an experience with long division similar to that above, and will state without prompting that she LOVES SCHOOL is all I need. We have intermittent concerns as well, but on the whole, it seems as good or better than anything else out there that we've found for our kid (and we looked). I think this video captures it very well.

For all the issues you might have had with the originals, you've done a marvelous job, and this is a true gem. Thank you so much for all your work, especially on behalf of those of us who could not have been there!

Thanks for the ammo, Ty! I think I should make  bumper sticker: IH8IE8

For the unlucky folks that still support IE8, here's a few resources on helping to make the case on dropping support:

It's a massively slow experience
https://github.com/h5bp/lazyweb-requests/issues/11#issuecomment-8184513 has data on how different IE8 is in performance issues. (We could still use more data)

You gain critical features when you drop

Here's a decent view of what you gain:
* http://beta.caniuse.com/#compare=ie+8,ie+9  (so useful)
* http://html5please.com/#gtie8 (this includes some stuff in ie8)

(In some cases this means you  no longer need polyfills, in others it unlocks real practical use).
If you have any other resources or techniques that have helped you drop IE8 support at your spot, leave a comment.

I'm afraid this video is only moderately helpful at best... it moves too quickly to follow easily, and the synthesized voice does not help overall understanding. Is there a more in-depth video that explains things more carefully and clearly?

Excellent place; I can't speak to the negative experiences of other folks, but they treated me well and with respect, did a great job... maybe a little pricey but very convenient for me. I'll definitely be going there again!

Not bad - very limited selection at any given time, but that's what they advertise. Good drinks, nice atmosphere and outside patio (if you don't mind the train 3 feet from your head every now and then!). I'll be back!

LOVE these guys, and their pizza! It helps that we are in the neighborhood and have been going here since before it became Big Bites - but if I'd never been, I'd still be very pleased. The people are friendly and neighborly and the food is great - ample toppings on the pizza, lovingly prepared and perfect for my tastes. What more could you ask for?

Way more than just a guitar store, these guys are the VERY best at repair and set-up. So good I will even go all the way to Winchester to use their services... they've done an incredible job with my instruments and helped me out of some tight spots in a hurry. Can't possibly recommend these guys took highly - the best!!!!
