Spacious rooms with large bathrooms (Shower: water pressure not adjustable, only overhead shower head, not mobile). Clean. Inroom safe, TV, coffee maker, no minibar. Busy, spacious lobby. Friendly staff. spacious gym with half a dozen cardio devices, and half a dozen weight devices (legs, chest, shoulder, multi-functional pulley), weights, gym balls, mats etc. No outside view however. Location: next to Convention Center, close to Shore Line Village. Short walk from Downtown long beach. Not bad.

We would take a vacation from work just to stay at this hotel again. It is very well located. Everyone was so wonderful and helpful. Travis recognizing us as returning guests, and treating us with such appreciation for choosing his hotel again on our way back through, was something we'll never forget. Thank you!

Our room has an amazing view of the harbor and the Queen Mary! Great location, right in the middle of a ton of great places to eat and the Aquarium. Room was nice as usual for Hyatt. Wish parking wasn't so expensive.

The room was nice, the room service was okay, the food was good, the pool was clean and warm. The front desk was nice, the restaurant was pleasant but I had to ask multiple times for a refill on my drink.

Nice location, rooms are okay (compared to other Hyatts but still better than most hotels). Not as large as other Hyatts on the east coast but good enough. Good decor. Staff is friendly and very attentive.

Very nice place to stay, house keeping very detail and friendly. Front desk staff not very friendly no eye contact. Called down for a few condiments/amenities front desk wasn't pleasant took 30 minutes to bring my items not only did it take 30 minute to bring my items they did not bring what I ask for. Blame the rude employee who orginaly took the call. valet employees very attentive made my stay very pleasant gave me info. On my sec night that front desk could have given me when i check in. Love the cleanliness! kudos to valet and house keeping. Thanks for making my stay pleasant. Train your front desk staff to have more eye contact and to greet there guest.

Clean, modern rooms. The staff is friendly and courteous. WiFi was included with my room rate but you have to pay for high speed. The breakfast buffet is decent though overpriced at $19. The gym is spacious and has a good amount of cardio equipment. Within walking distance of numerous bars and restaurants and a short drive to the beach.

Must say I'm disappointed by my start, middle and end of my stay. Really fell short of expectations in service & food. I had called 5 hours in advance to request checkin a couple of hours early as I was arriving with my wife and infant but was surprised this didn't see the to have registered (not be cause there wasn't availability which I would understand). Then we were told they'd get a cleaning team to prep a room and give us a call ASAP.. By now it was 3pm (normal checkin time!) and no one called.. So I went to the reception, and eventually they swapped our executive suite to a similar one on a lower floor.. No apologies, no attempt to make sure we weren't upset, nothing! Also, people randomly came into our room wether it's for room service or dropping off a welcome basket without knocking or properly verifying if it's ok to come in! We had to use the chain! We had a conference room the next morning which didn't have a coffee or tea machine, and basically if you want one you need to buy one from reception or make one in your room. Not sure if we could've paid for this option? But at least to have a machine outside would have sufficed! The lunch by the pool was good, I had the steak and it was cooked well, a little dry but i didn't ask for sauce to be fair.. Ordered in room breakfast, the American one lacked in taste especially for the price, and it didn't come with enough bread, the hash Browns were terrible.. We took chess stuffed omelettes the next couple of days which were decent, but for the Hyatt I'd expect much better.. $3.5 for toast & $3 for delivery on top of the 20% service charge & tax magically converted a $13 omelette into $25, oh and there was a tip box at the bottom.. As if double was not enough.. And to wrap it all up we were told local calls were free, but found a $7 added to our bill. What a big shame as we overlooked the beautiful pier, the exec suite was wonderful, spacious, with electric blinds, fancy smart tv, great shower and so on.. You know, Hyatt material..
