This Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 7:00 PM-8:00 PM Eastern Time, as a part of the Michigan State University Master of Arts in Educational Technology Bridge Webinar series we will be discussing copyright in education.

Copyright is a gray area with a constantly changing definition. As culture continues to shift in a collaborative and open sourced nature, the understanding of copyright and its implications need to be at the forefront of educational conversations.

Questions addressed in this webinar:
What is copyright?
Why do educators need to understand it?
What is considered fair use in the classroom?
What are resources teachers can use?

Joining The Bridge will be:

Jeremy Whiting, President of the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association and secondary teacher at Ovid-Elsie High School

Adel DiOrio, Principal at St. Johns Middle School in Michigan

Kyle Dunbar, Tech Integration Specialist at Alexandria City Public Schools

Please join us for an excellent conversation!
