Agree, I tried and tried but could not find a proper Imperial use for Marksmanship. Shame though, because it really sounds like a useful ability.

Good news everyone ... well except for the Rebels, who are about to be decimated :P

I fully understand you indecisiveness here even despite flying the Phantoms. I've tried to mount these on low PS Phantoms, to give them an edge since they have a much higher chance of being shot at before they shoot (and cloak). So definitely, in the decloak phase, this becomes a valuable asset.
However, the point is what happens after the Phantom shoots and future movement. Despite having very nimble maneuvering options, the value of Phantom is in the decloak maneuver, rather than in the cloak itself. And here's the catch with SPA, you won't cloak after you fire. So in your next move you're nimble yes, however the whole beauty of Phantom, for me, is its "jumping" around the battlefield.
Even with a low PS Phantom, I'd rather take my chances that the combination of decloak and Phantom's movement will get me out of the line of fire. This in fact goes regardless of PS since even 4 dice are no match for several fighters shooting at you, if you park your Phantom in the wrong spot.
Thus, Advanced Cloaking Device is the one for me, so far.

The trigger was Sean's article :) and thanks for this one as well. I just recently had this rethinking of stress dealing phase. For now, I've decided to fly Rebel Captive instead of Tactician on my Firespray. Still both are  valid options, Tactician just requires more precise flying, I guess ...
Also, these are good choices not only against Phantoms but on Phantoms as well, since they can carry a crew and dealing stress in addition to 4-5 dice attack is rather sweet :)

Being mainly Imperial, keep my rebel forces at minimum, in fact only recently I decided to acquire more besides the lonely X-Wing from core set and I'm getting Rebel Aces; just for variety. Because recently, there's more and more to the faction. Like with the addition of Defenders I finally found use for Lambda in my high PS game.

But this intrigues me a lot and I'm definitely getting into S&V faction, even plan to represent it in the next league we'll hold next year. Partially also because it promises a new style of game.

And I know that a lot of people are excited about S&V just because they love bounty hunters and just want to see them in play.

Yep, BH should be able to join each faction but on the other hand ... we don't need that scum :D

At first I was curious but after this reveal, I really got excited about the Decimator. The fact that it has 0 agility but shoots 360 and has no red maneuvers ... that's really an approach which makes you use the ship tactically and not just as a lawnmower :)

And it's crew members and equipment are just as cool. Way to go.

Stress is indeed becoming a weapon, not just self inflicted boost to annoying the enemy on the topic of how many actions you can perform in one round :)
I have to say though, Kath's ability is tricky and while I've managed to stress one Darth Vader to oblivion in casual play, during the four rounds of Imdaar it fired only once.
