Recently, Google NYC hosted a panel discussion moderated by Senior Staff Research Scientist Michiel Bacchiani, and consisting of Staff Software Engineer , Research Scientist , Software Engineer , and Software Engineer Oksana Yakhnenko. During the discussion, the panel shared their experiences with an audience of Ph.D.s from industry/academia, and fielded questions about how one can leverage a Ph.D. in a career with Google.
