My husband and I went on Valentines Day to have dinner and were disappointed at the lack of food we had to eat for a four course meal. I've never left a restaurant hungry before. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't there. Our largest portion was the salad. The first course was an appetizer and was embarrassingly small. One medium and one small scallop. When we got the main course which was Surf and Turf, my Surf leaned on my Filet Mignon and we couldn't see it. I don't believe it was Mignon, and we had three mini potatoes and 6 or so skinny string beans. Now the desert was a laugh, it was so little I ate it in two bites. Very disappointing.

Food decent, atmosphere decent, but too many times we've had bad service, and sometimes downright terrible service. They obviously do little to train their wait staff. We'll never go back.

Bristo 90 should be on everyone's must check out list. It's an easy quick drive up Rt.22 from Myrtle proper. The food is amazing from steaks to Italian dishes. Good wine list, nice bar area, dining room is comfortable and decorated nicely … and if you are brave share the bananas foster over cheese cake. One person can’t eat it all. The owner and his staff understand customer service and Golfers like us are more than welcome. Bristo 90’s specials are post on its Facebook page daily. We visit Myrtle Beach 3 to 4 times a year. Bristo 90 is always on our list of places to dine.

The other reviews are spot on, this place is a gem. Kids love the pizza wife loved the steak. Skip the grand strand with no regrets, try the amazing fried green tomato appetizer. low country gourmet feels like Charleston.

My wife and I get to Bistro90 multiple times a year and I've yet to have had a bad, or even marginal, experience. Great food and a professional wait staff make for pleasurable dining. Roland, the owner, works the room in an unobtrusive manner and makes each guest feel as if they are a VIP. His staff is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The food and preparation is in a class of its own. It's an out of the way gem that should top your list of places to enjoy. You can't go wrong there.

My Husband took me to Bistro 90 for our 27th wedding anniversary, The owner Rollin had a table waiting for us with 2 glasses of an amazing bubbly Champagne. We ordered a scallop appetizer with a sweet pineapple sauce over a bed of rice, WOW!. My Husband ordered the 24 oz stake with fresh green beans and a fried potato, I ordered the chicken pizza, they both came with salad. The salads were so fresh it felt as if you walked out to your own garden picked the lettuce, cherry tomato, and cucumber washed, sliced, and served with in 10 min. of gathering the ingredient's. we had wine and bubbly water with the meal, the stake melted in your mouth, the texture was perfect, the flavor was heavenly, you could cut it with a fork. The pizza came out hot and fresh, our server placed a slice in front of me, the aroma filled my nose and caused me to close my eyes to bask in the aroma. We topped the meal off with an espresso for him, decaf coffee and pumpkin tart for me. Coffee extremely fresh, the tart was flaky, and heavenly. This 27th wedding anniversary has been AWESOME! My Husband and I celebrate life every day but he always finds just the right way to top our everyday celebrations, once a year on the day we both said I DO.

The food was incredibly good for the price. I had the in-house aged ribeye, and my girlfriend had the eggplant parm. For the same price as a ribeye from outback or some such, the steak at Bistro 90 was really good -- on par with places where you would pay 30-40 for a similar cut of beef. From my little taste, I found the eggplant parm to have a delicious gravy, and it was huge. But quality of the food was overshadowed by the service. I had a misunderstanding about the hours, and was afraid we had arrived just before closing. Feeling guilty while enjoying the wonderful dining experience, I left a note apologizing to the server. The manager called me moments after we had pulled out the parking lot, saying he had tried to catch us before leaving, to let me know that we had not come just before close and, even if we had, it would have not been an issue. I really appreciate a restaurant that goes the extra mile like that and so quickly and professionally deals with any perceived issue. The only negative part of this review will be to say that I don't live near the restaurant (vacationing at Myrtle), so I can't regularly patronize the place. If you're vacationing at Myrtle or anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and avoid the mediocre, crowded, expensive, tourist-packed places on the main drags and go 15 minutes down the road and get some great food at a very reasonable price from a group of good people.
