So far I am really enjoying Xubuntu and do not regret switching from Ubuntu. There is one thing that does not work well and that is external monitors.May 14, 2012
Now I use Trisquel but xfce 4.10 can help me!May 14, 2012

External monitors are going to have better support in xfce 4.12... and there is a PPA with updates for that as well. https://launchpad.net/~xubuntu-dev/+archive/xfce-4.12
As for wanting a stable system, remember that Xfce 4.12 has not been released yet, and as such, these are all development packages. It's stable for me, but watch out.Mar 4, 2013
