"Empty Lot is a large geometric sculpture created using scaffolding, a grid of triangular wooden planters, and soil collected from parks across London including Peckham, Haringey and Westminster. Nothing will be planted in the soil, but it will be lit by lamps and watered throughout the six month display. The unpredictable nature of the work, which may grow and change from one week to the next, provokes questions about the city and nature, as well as wider ideas of chance, change, and hope."

PASSING THE TORCH
SEPTEMBER 17, 2015EZE VIDRA
“We cannot hold a torch to light another’s path without brightening our own.”
— Ben Sweetland

Dear Sir,
I'm writing to you about my #Project & will ask for your time to read this please. I'm just gona explain myself. I guess you most properly get alot of business #StartUp #proposual this way or not but if not I'm gona try dying.
My name is Danny Lima, an ex #NRL #Superleague rugby-league player from 1995 - 2007.
My career playing for teams. ..
95-97 #SydneyCityRooster
98-99 # CanberraRaiders
2000 #Yearoff
2001-2002 #NorthernEagles
2003 #ManlySeaEagles
2004-2006 #WarringtonWolves
2006 #SalfordCityReds
2007 #WakefieldWildcats
2007-2008 #RC Abli XIII (Liquidation)
I'm currently living in France for the past 8 year's. I'm very passionate about rugby-league but also alot about #Sports. Since leaving England because of my career downturn & arriving in France on a 2 year contract. But it went down hill in 2007-2008 because alot of clubs in France are not financially viable. Over the year's i've see #Superleague clubs also struggled financially. That day I made it my mission to one day change the landscape of rugby-league & alot of sports in general. 8 year's have passed but nothing has changed. I basically studied #PrivateEquity #CapitalRisk's & #StartUpFunding over the year's but couldn't get anything going cause of my working commitments to help provide for my little family. As the year's passed #BeInSports has now come & basically taken over the french market. In the UK #Telecom Operator #BTSports have now given competition to #SkySports. France Télécom had #OrangeSports but ceased when #BeInSports *(QatarInvestmentGroup) put up shop in France. I hope that I haven't lost you of where I'm going with this subject about my project. Well anyway my #Sales #Pitch is this .... my project is that i'd like to build a #New #Sports #Telecom #Network in France, than open up in the uk & the #Globe.
ADLSPORTS.TV》similar to SkySports using #Satellite, but with a difference to all companies this has been over a 5 year's period studied, but offering customers certain products to grow, & be #No1 in 2 year's. What will make this company different to the others will be content !!!! My pitch can't be any clearer. I'm not a business man, but having been following the business technology, & business world. I watch bloomberg when I have time etc. I don't have a diploma which I regret but playing rugby-league was to try & get ahead in life, but I was never on a high salary.
Question why ? Clubs both in Uk & France have financial difficulties. Superleague salary cap is £1,6 million for starter's. AVIVA Rugby Championship is £4,5 million. France rugby #Top14 rugby championship, where clubs like #RCToulon €35+million budgets #RacingMetro #StadeFrance #Montpellier #StadeToulouse, all have budgets of €30+ million euros. I'm asking for funding in building my vision of the #Future.
I have developed a view on sports over 8 year's but hoping to kick start my goals & success.

Mobile (?) I have a mobile plan in France but what I've noticed is that my plan is capped at €90 euros & have 12Go but now changed it to 15Go. I watch TV on my mobile, & Internet. I don't have a tv why I changed my plan & getting a #SmartPhone.
I work some long hours, during summer & very soon coming holiday period. I'm also coaching in my passion of rugbyleague but I don't get paid doing it. It's why I'd like to change my life. Another reason why is my health, i have #Arthrituis (13mm zero cartilage in my right ankle since 2009 & 3mm #Arthrituis Inn my right hip. I struggle at times to walk but my medication helps the #Pain. Recently I found after my recent scan, i've #Arthrituis in my right ankle & i'm now wearing a brace. But I continue with my current job lifting fruits & vegetables in the region of Bouches-du-Rhône.
I want to become an entrepreneur but need funding. I've come to so many dead ends to just nightmare. I'd like to request a meeting with you & your bosses. This is a big project in the world, changing the industry. I'll post my logo that i've done, like 3 year's ago, but really need to move forward in life now. They say life begins at 40 & i'd like to kick on with it at 40 year's of age.

Story
Tagline
Founder of Campus London and Techbikers
Introduction
I'm a General Partner at Google Ventures Europe.

Before GV, I was the Head of Google for Entrepreneurs Europe, supporting startup ecosystems and helping them grow. In 2012, I've started and led Campus London, Google's first physical startup hub, providing founders with networking, learning and mentoring access, from Googlers, investors and thought leaders in the tech world.

Prior to leading Campus, I was a strategic partnerships manager at Google, where I spearheaded several of Google's European commerce offerings including the launch of Google Shopping in Spain and Local Shopping in UK. Previously, I worked in a number of tech companies: I was Principal Product Manager of AOL Search in Europe, Senior Product Manager at Ask.com in San Francisco, Product Manager at Gerson Lehrman Group in New York and Team Leader at Shopping.com in Israel. Going back a bit, I co-founded a tech startup in Israel in 2003 and in 2005 I founded VC Cafe, a popular blog on early stage Israeli startups.

I have an MBA from London Business School and a BA in Business Administration, IT Management and Entrepreneurship from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Israel

I'm also a trustee of Up Europe and serve on the advisory board of BBC Worldwide Labs. I'm a frequent public speaker on startups and innovation.
Bragging rights
I created Techbikers (www.techbikers.com), a non-for-profit that brings together the tech community through cycling events, to support children's education in developing markets. So far in 2 years, we've raised more than £100,000 for Room to Read.
