Alzheimer's disease and cancer are big concerns for many aging people. Having one of those conditions can be difficult for patients and families. Having both would likely be an even greater hardship.

We are your Oklahoma team. We will overcome cancer together
Introduction

Something different. Something better. Optim Oncology was founded by a group of Oklahoma born and trained cancer physicians with one thing in mind – build a local cancer practice that is physician managed and patient focused. Cancer treatment decisions should not be made by a hospital administrator – they should be made by oncology specialists who are completely focused on your well-being.

The Optim Oncology Dream Team:
  • Top physicians, nurses and staff members who are 100% dedicated to fighting cancer.
  • Radiation Oncology (radiation therapy) and Medical Oncology (chemotherapy) specialists in one location to facilitate fully coordinated treatment.
  • Advanced technology that previously was only available in large and university hospitals.
  • Treatment in a relaxed, close-to-home, office-like setting outside the hospital
  • Close working relationships with referring physicians who are integral to your team. For example, urologists are key in the treatment of prostate cancer. Breast surgeons are important team members in battling breast cancer.
  • Family and friends of patients are treated as vital team members.
Optim Oncology has grown to include seven locations in central and northeastern Oklahoma and is the largest non-hospital oncology practice in Oklahoma. In fact, several leading hospitals rely on Optim Oncology to care for their oncology patients. Optim Oncology is a leader in cancer treatment services and technology. We are the only Central Oklahoma practice to utilize Calypso’s leading precision radiation guidance technology to minimize side-effects. Optim Oncology offers the leading options of radiation treatment including IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy), IGRT (Image Guided Radiation Therapy), Tomotherapy and HDR (High Dose Rate) Internal Radiation Therapy. We follow treatment protocols developed by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), an alliance of 21 of the world’s leading cancer centers. We also participate in clinical trials to understand leading drug capabilities that are available.
