Amazing Chinese in the middle of a busy part of midtown. Service is great, the food is authentic (I think) and the menu is really extensive. You can get everything from General Tsao's to crispy lamb. And get the spicy garlic string beans!

I've been here for both lunch and dinner. The staff is extremely nice and the food comes out super fast. Basically every main dish comes with a small tofu soup, which can come with varying levels of spicy and either mixed or veggie. Always leave satisfied and with plenty of leftovers.

One of New York's best kept secrets. Uncle Boon's is in my top 5 favorite restaurants in nyc and that's after living here for 5 years. Simply put, it's authentic and freaking delicious. The spice levels are no joke (and neither are the prices for that matter) but it's all so, so worth it. Really cool 1960's vibe indoors. Really great spot for dinner with 1 or 2 other people, since portions aren't that big.

If you're looking for a true Filipono food experience, I highly recommend you gather a group of friends and do the Kamayan dinner offered on Wednesdays. No utensils allowed, only hands. The food is AMAZING and you'll always leave with some leftovers. I've done Kamayan twice and can't wait to take my family for the third.

So fun coming here with friends for japanese bbq. Really great lunch specials and the service is pretty decent. Gets packed for dinner, avoid the crowd and get there early or just stick to lunch.

I haven't ventured into many of Homes' menu items but their fried rice is absolutely addicting. Generous portions too. You've been warned.

St. Mazie's! Great atmosphere with wonderful jazz music and an old-timey feel. Never had the food at the restaurant downstairs but would love to some time.
