when i stayed here a few years ago i fell in love with this hotel before i even booked it because of the the location this hotel was right where i needed to be when it came to my travel needs. i Love the room they where good size for me the beds where very comfortable to me. the rooms where nicely done.the staff was very nice and helpful. And the one thing i liked is if i had a problem and i called down to the front desk they would always say we are sorry for your problem we will get on it right now and fix it even if it was in the middle of the night.the only downside i had to say is the parking was very hard to get and when you find a place to park it cost you $$$$. I would 100% recommend this hotel to other colleges and friends as well as friends and i am already planing a trip to this hotel with my family in the near future.

We're currently staying here, and in brief I'll say that we would not stay again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else. The hotel did get a couple of things right, and they're important things. Unfortunately, the bad far outweigh the good. The good: The rooms are clean, warm, and the decor is beautiful. The bad: We've stayed at a lot of hotels, and this is certainly the scammiest of any we've ever been in. 1: parking. They charge $25 for 1 night in the garage. Compare that to the Embassy Suites nearby, which does not charge anything for guest parking. If you drive a vehicle like an suv, avoid this place. The ceiling is extremely low, and I was afraid the roof was going to scrape. The cost for parking is, again, ridiculous. You're already paying $200 for a night here. 2: beds are like sleeping on a rock. I couldn't get any sleep. What's more is that the walls are paper thin, so you can hear every sound in the hotel all night. We were treated to several hours of porn from a nearby room. 3: cable package is deplorable. I've gotten more stations at a $30 roadside motel. The channels you do have constantly cut out, or are fuzzy. We eventually just switched on Netflix on my laptop. 4: No complimentary breakfast? Seriously terrible. What hotel doesn't serve at least some kind of free breakfast? I'll use Embassy Suites as an example, again. They're comparable in price and location. They serve a full range of breakfast at no extra cost. This place wants an arm and a leg for everything. 2 cups of hot chocolate were $6 for what was just hot water and a packet of Swiss miss that you can buy a box of at Kroger for $2. A bottle of water that you can buy at a gas station for $1 will cost you $4 here. 5: Standard guest room is very small. I've gotten larger at $50 hotels all around the country. In summary, if you want to spend $150-200 a night, any other downtown hotel is better. This place will overcharge you for everything, then stick you in a coffin for the night with a half functional TV, and keep you awake all night. Don't do it. Please, just don't do it.

I do want to apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. It is not uncommon to pay for parking in downtown metropolitan areas. We take pride in owning our own garage and do regular checks to make sure our parking prices stay competitive. The Embassy Suites does charge $22 for parking at their facility. The Sheraton brand offers the signature Sheraton sweet sleeper bed in all of our guest rooms. I am sorry you were not satisfied with our beds. Our TV in our guest rooms does contain 42 channels. Also full service hotels typically do not offer complimentary breakfast. Lastly I want to apologize for the noise disturbances and your stay was not the relaxing visit we strive for! Please do not hesitate to contact the front desk to ask about requesting another room. Thank you again for your review. Parking is $25 per night, a little too pricey for that area but at least it does have in/out privileges. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops but for downtown area, it doesn't offer much. I did enjoy our room's view very much though. I was upgraded to their top floor so that was a huge bonus. Oh, and if you decide to stay here, be sure to ask for the rooms facing south because the view just overlooks the city center and its great! Amenities aren't that great but they do have a Starbucks in the hotel. Lobby is quite small but reps were pleasant.

I really had an awesome stay (except the pool was so cold... why is it not heated??), until I looked at my bank account. This hotel put a hold on my account for the amount of the stay, which was fine. But then they charged me after we checked out for the total with the hold still on there. So my bank account reflects that I am being charged twice until the hold goes away! So thanks Sheraton, for screwing me over, and leaving my bank account with little money. The hold should come off the second after you charge me, not three days later (IF it comes off today!)!!! SOOO if you want to stay here, make sure you have enough plus some for your bank account to reflect double for a week after.

Based upon the last name given in your review, we have investigated the charges for those with the same last name in the month of July and have not found any charges that have been doubled. It is possible that your bank card did not tie the authorization to the charge when the actual charged was processed through the central bank clearing house. Stayed here one night, and enjoyed it very much. The location is prime, right in the middle of downtown where you are walking distance from many things. You walking its very nice and clean, and has a Starbucks entrance in the lobby. The part I appreciated the most was having a room with comfortable beds, fridges in the rooms and power outlets everywhere you needed them. The staff was very nice and attentive, and I just appreciated the small little things since i stay in hotels often. Didnt eat/park here, so cant comment on the prices.

A/C unit is control by management. Room was 76° when I arrived last night. A fan was offered. Now its 82° in the room I've called guest services and they said there's nothing they can do for now until they turn on the building A/C unit.

DONT WORRY KELLY; I'm posting another review in the am in more depth. and the so called gm that allowed you to call the police on a 13 year old and her mother for asking for a tour of the hotel; should be fired as well. tonight was a sure indication that you've displayed this behavior before; your racism is a part of an even bigger culture; .as i was not hostile in any way. your intelligence level and your level of communication, suggest you are in the wrong business. how dare you discuss and laught with another guest about your very inappropriate behavior. The police suggested i contact upper management and I plan on it. i pray you're both removed from your post; you met the right advocate for racial profiling. AND CANCEL THE RESERVATIONS; you are the worst two human beings I've met in person...
