So everyone has complaints about the Galaxy S6 and the amount of ram usage. I have been running the phone all day long today, making calls, sending texts watching the odd YouTube video, played a couple games and had GPM running tubes through must of the day. Not to count, using apps like Facebook as well.
This may sound like a surprise to some but after recieving the the stagefright patch I decided to back up my phones data and factory reset it. Upon restoration, I went through the preinstalled apps I didn't use in the first place as well as key Galaxy apps like health, Galaxy store, and s-voice. Not quite sure the trigger here, but as you can see I didn't clean the cache yet, but when I do it resets to 1.2 GB of free ram. Before this last patch I was constantly running out of ram. I have been running the phone like this for a week now. It could be that I haven't waited long enough just yet for the phone to bog down again.
I am using Google now launcher and most of the native Google apps. Not the Samsung ones.
