They lived in a time of huge prosperity, low medical costs, pensions, lifetime employer relationships, cheap energy, no global competition, and nearly free education. Now they are kicking back on Social Security and Medicare for the next few decades while the smaller, poorer, next generation behind them (mine) will not be so lucky. We'll be picking up the bills for our boomer parents and have zero chance (as a whole) of enjoying the same lifestyle or secure retirement.
It must be nice to have the luxury of being crotchety, mean and rude to people while ranting on and on about politics, religion, and their belief that the US is going to "hell in a handbasket". I wouldn't know... I have to work.
