Incredibly slow service just to get 2 limeades and a side. Also, we received 5 pickle rounds in their medium order of pickle-os. How many come in a mini or a small then...?

With all of the negative reviews it makes sense now why this place never seems to have any business every time I drive by. Not to add to the stigma of this particular Sonic but I drive a cab in Madison and every time I've taken a particular employee to work early in the morning this person never tips a cent and just seems to be pissed off that he has to go to work. I understand that jobs like these must suck considering mine does as well but I always try to be as police and courteous and helpful to everyone I meet even if they are rude and obnoxious to me in return. I guess this kind of negative attitude shows in the customer service and food of this business and it's unfortunate that it can't be uplifted into something better. Everyone I've talked to says they haven't eaten there or will not eat there and I guess there are obvious reasons why. Unfortunate that with all the Sonic commercials over the years the first one we get is rather... lackluster to say the least.

Went a couple years ago, had fun and the food was decent. Last weekend, we had a horrendous experience. The head-banger music was cranked up so loud we could barely hear ourselves talking in the car. The person on the loudspeaker was RUDE from the get-go. She kept getting the order wrong. I had to repeat 3 times. Finally, I asked if the music was coming from a truck one bay over or if it was a tape. You'ld think I'd just insulted her mother. "It's onsite!" she snapped. She said, "Do you want anything else?" I said, "You could try being polite." She got a major attitude (as if it hadn't already been bad enough) and we decided it wasn't worth it. When I told her we were going to leave, she said, "Good." My friend and I are in our late 50s. Neither of us have ever been treated so poorly. She refused to respond to the call button when I asked to speak to the mgr. A carhop was taking an order over to a nearby car and I asked her to send the mgr over. A slovenly female waddled over to my car as if she was doing me a favor and stopped parallel to my left, rear passenger door. I had to twist around to speak with her. She took no responsibility for what happened. In fact, she made no comment at all until I asked her if she had anything to say. "I'll talk to her." That was it. No apology. No offer to make things right. No goodbye. She just turned around and waddled back. I was livid. My friend, who I can count on to keep me grounded, was furious. It wasn't busy. And every time I drive past it looks like there isn't any business. I guess this is why. If you're looking for a "soda fountain experience" and you don't want to go to Culver's, BK or McD's, head over to Michael's.

I finally tried a Sonic, since they have come to our area! I had high hopes for a really good burger... Unfortunately i was a little let down. I was greeted with a cold cheese burger and cold soggy fries. I got the feeling that the place had some fundamental issues that need to be taken care of. I think the place is understaffed and in need of some leadership to solve some basic operations and workflow problems. Where is the franchise owner? Where is the general manager? Based on the other comments I see here, If somebody doesn't step up apathy will take over until they close their doors. It's a shame, Sonic really had a unique experience.

I live in Janesville, so its pretty hard to go to Sonic. So as my first experience at Sonic, they did well. Even though I just order a M Cookie Dough shake, the shake was great. The only problem that's not getting 5 stars is the long wait to get our order. Did take 2-3 min to finally take our order. Would come back if I want to.

Went for supper this evening. In the past, we have enjoyed Sonic but I believe they may be closing for good. After pressing the ordering button, it took almost five minutes to be greeted and asked for our order. Attempting to order a simple chicken sandwich proved impossible. The order taker stated that crispy chicken was no longer available, and when questioned told us in a cocky tone that many things on the menu were no longer available. Employees that suddenly don't care, and a good portion of the menu gone? Sounds like a doomed business to me. Sad, because we really liked them.

I worked here when they first opened. It's normal Sonic quality. I like the deserts, and the chili dogs are awesome, but prepare for some bathroom time afterwords.

Took me 25 mins to get a cup of ice cream. I went in to cancel my order and I saw it sitting on the shelf in back. Then it took them 10 mins to refund my money. I ate at many sonics, and trust me, THIS IS NOT A SONIC.
