That's exactly what I mean that you are narrowing the definition of EVOLUTION to apply only to organic evolution. I.e. Evolution simply means change over time...be it organic or inorganic...
As for nothing...nothing means the absence of something...Look it up in any dictionary- Not anything, no single thing, no amount, nought etc etc.
Scientists may attempt to confuse unsuspecting people by attributing the presence of something to the meaning of nothing but we’ll wait and see how that goes.
