Great view, clean room, and got a drink credit for the credit card mixup. Great location to soho, little Italy and China town!

Outstanding customer service, clean room, great location, good food and bar, not many perks but none were expected for this price in NYC. Will definitely stay there, again.

Three and a half stars, because there's a distinct edge of seediness here. Aside from the street bordering Chinatown, the restaurant/lobby on the second floor doesn't have the quality or cleanliness you would expect, and the staff isn't very professional. Still, the rooms are pretty good, and the location is great for exploring Chinatown/Soho/Little Italy/the Bowery, etc.

Booked a non-smoking room but got given what was clearly a smoking room. After complaining we got a room change and they moved our bags for us while we were out. From what I've seen, most of the rooms are quite small, however if your lucky you might be given one of the larger rooms. Each of the rooms have an air conditioning unit which is a god send when it's hot and humid outside. There is also a hotel bar that is open from 5pm til 11pm which is nice to go to for a quick one after a night out before going to the room. The people working here seem to always be happy and can't seem to do enough for you! The breakfast service is all-you-can-eat, quality of the food is good, could be better but it is all just what you need to start the day. Overall I would say that this hotel is very nice, it offers you everything that you need for a stay in New York and more!

Booked this hotel as I keep trying to find a hotel close to a client site. Had high hopes for the holiday inn based on location and name. Due to circumstances outside my control I had to cancel my trip. The agent informed me that it was nonrefundable but that they would contact the hotel for me to see if the management would refund my money or give me voucher for a future stay. After 5 phone calls, they were finally able to get the GM on the phone who refused a refund or a voucher. I just spent 900 dollars for an empty room. Ridiculous.

The room and physical hotel were clean, but unremarkable. The reason this hotel deserves 5 stars is its staff. To a person, they were friendly and helpful. I've stayed in many hotels, the staff at the Holiday Inn was above and beyond any I've experienced. Oh, and there's a great hole-in-the wall dumpling place less than a block away. Ask the concierge.
