I've been happily married since 2003 and have four beautiful children (a 6-month boy, 5-year old boy, 6-year old girl and a 21-year old step-daughter) who are all at the center of my life. I just completed my Ph.D. tenure at Temple University where I focused my dissertation on Understanding Acculturation and Infant Feeding among Hmong Americans in St. Paul, MN. I am currently teaching sociology courses at Temple University. My teaching interests include social statistics, race and ethnicity in the United States, and the sociology of health. In my free time, I love yoga, running, snow and water skiing, camping, hiking, and river rafting. I also love to travel and explore new places and cultures.
