The Farm, Raman and Hal
Received my  Raman spectroscopy laser today. It's getting closer. Starting automation on a large Aquaponics farm. Hal is a bit unstable due to all the new stuff for Raspberry Pi and Arduino.  When it's complete I should have a fully working test platform fo...

Hal Remoting Working The Right Way Mostly
How do you present a 3d view remotely? Not as easy as I thought it would be. You need a whole lot of stuff I just didn't think was needed. For instance: Selection of different remote Raspberry PIs. This needs a whole lot more than a computer address. A user...

How Hal knows your automation web address.
If you're going to connect and view your automation embedded computer you need to know it's address.  Unfortunately it needs to be saved somewhere unless you pay for a permanent address. That somewhere is a web server. The first step is now done.  I now hav...

Remoting
Raman is up on the shelf for a while.  It's time to get the latest version of the remoting side of Hal working. What is remoting you ask? Tell me more Pierre.  I'm just waiting on pins and needles. Remoting is where you can see and control Hal remotely. Gen...

Raman 3d printed parts begun
Heres the first two parts for the Raman spectroscopy system. Able to measure the molecular makeup of stuff. and here's the ultrasonic level sensor with temperature sensor attached. Will install it tomorrow.

This is Hal creating rooms in 3d by adding and rubber banding walls.
This is an example of Hal creating rooms.

Color And Sizing Of Objects With Controls with Hal
This is an example of how you can setup an object to be animated using a sensor from the real world.

Remoting is now working
Finally remoting is working.  3d scenes can now be remotely viewed. All is needed is the IP address and voila, you can see scenes and thought (controls) status. An IP address is like a phone number.  The problem with a computer's address on the net is that ...

Raman and Hal
6 parts down and 48 to go. 3d printing has it's caveats.  That's for sure.  Speed of printing,  height of extruder head,  temperature of extruder, temperature of bed, feed rate of plastic, extruder speed. Then theres rafts, that's the stuff that your part s...

Hal is now stable with sensors. 3d and schematic remote viewing is next.
I now have Hal stabilized for sensors like ultrasonic, analog and digital IO. I hope to install an ultrasonic level sensor in the Aquaponics farm day after tomorrow, that is, if it's ready by then. Created a mount using the new FlashForce 3d printer which s...
