:: CAUTION :: Visited this bar for Halloween. My friend was being harassed , so I alert the bouncer. This happened twice but the bouncer decided to ignore my request. So I decided to deal with the harassment myself and escort the dude out of the bar. Now I have the bouncer's attention who begins to scream at me and my lady friend. He yells at her ....." Did he rape you? .....Were You RAPED ?". We explained that we were forced to defend ourselves when the bouncer showed no concern. The bouncers kept screeching the horrid question over and over. The managers showed similar behavior and were of no help. If you are in trouble at Penny Farthing, you are on your own. The security would rather that you shut up and suffer.

Really enjoy this bar everytime I go. Great atmosphere, fun bartenders and lots of space for groups. I personally haven't ordered any food there (I usually swing by in the middle of a long night) but I've heard good things from friends.

Found this place wandering around the village on a Sunday afternoon, looking for a place for lunch and was drawn by the brunch menu. Food was okay - I had the steak, potato, and cheese flatbread which was hearty (but expensive at $14), and the boyfriend had a pretty standard, nothing special, egg+bacon breakfast. Waiter was a sweet guy with an Irish accent but we waited 20 minutes for my boyfriend's coffee, which never came, and we had to remind the waitstaff, who then proceeded to add it separately to the tab, even though brunch items come with a complimentary beverage. Experience was pleasant, just nothing special, and not worth the price.

Hostess was rude, the food is terrible and the place always smells like vomit.

Average bar. Great happy hour specials, bartenders seemed bored and not engaging. Oh well. I'll still go again just for a drink if I'm in the neighborhood.

Decent food with a limited beer list. This place has an excellent vibe however and great decor! Not too expensive for what it is too!
