I took serious issue yesterday with an article posted by +al.com
and relayed by +WHNT NEWS 19 Huntsville, AL
about a purported Snapchat image causing controversy on campus in Tuscaloosa.
My problem is that the response of the university and AL.com's role as their mouthpiece is severely violating basic concepts of online privacy and the context of private communications. I wrote an article here detailing exactly why this is so disturbing, and may present this as a lightning talk at this weekend's Barcamp Huntsville.
