It's morning in Albuquerque, 20 degrees and there's snow on the ground; and, somehow, I feel more alive than usual.
On Thursday next, I'll give much thought to all that I am thankful for, most especially my children, but also my good years in marriage and my improving day-to-day health.
I'll be giving those thanks alone, mixed in with reading from Progressive Minds, Conservative Politics, Aryeh's new and first book. I do not complain about my solitude, a condition best suited to my 65 years of built-up anger after my first six, sublime years of life.
And, I'll give thanks for my efforts and the great strides I have made to cast out a good deal of that anger and in being able to recognize the kindness that most wish to share with anyone willing to see it for what it is and to accept it.
God bless all who read this.
With much love,
