We are excited to have our third gutter vacuum vehicle on the road. We have employed another ex roof tiler and can take on more gutter cleaning jobs in Melbourne.

We were lucky enough to be chosen to clean some of the residences, depot's, rotunda's and public toilets throughout Melbourne's parklands.
The views throughout the job were fantastic, as was Melbourne's fantastic winter weather.

Solar Panel Cleaning using our filtered water system. Check out the short video on youtube showing how we clean the solar panels.
When the solar panels get dirty, they become less effective. Dirt can build up from trees, birds, traffic, pollution and dust.
Our filtered water system takes out all of the dissolved solid particles in the water, leaving a spot free finish.

We clean solar panels using filtered water. This leaves a spot free finish and helps the panels to produce more power.

We often come across gutter guard in the gutters, which makes our job so much harder, but this is taking it to the extreme. It was hard to get near the gutter with our vacuum hose, let alone risk tearing it to pieces on the razor ribbon, so we used the blower to blow out the mess into the garden below.

Safety & Qualifications!

Ozwide Gutter Cleaning is not a lawn mowing company or a rubbish removal company! We are 100% Gutter Cleaning.
It is frustrating sometimes, when we are quoting against other companies that are not insured, not trained or try to clean the gutters by hand!

Our guys are roof tilers and have years of experience.
We are insured for both public liability and Work Cover.
We are trained and equipped to work safely at heights, and carry a harness and lifeline to use when needed.
We have numerous other qualifications including traffic management & working at high risk.

We are able to provide our Job Safety Analysis, along with our gutter cleaning specific Safe Work Method Statement.
We may be a few dollars more expensive from time to time, however we have been in the property maintenance business for over 20 years. We are trained, equipped, licensed and insured to do the job properly and safely.

Double story houses.

Gutter cleaning on double story houses is thankfully, something most people don't do for themselves these days.

Those double story gutters may be out of mind and therefore out of sight. However, they could be getting blocked due to birds nesting, or leaves and dust. Blockages can cause flooding, so it is better to get them cleaned once a year.

Our guys are trained, equipped and qualified to do these jobs safely.
We use a harness and lifeline to secure ourselves to the roof.

Extension vacuum pole!
Most of the time, we are able to access the roof and vacuum the gutters from above. We use the harness and lifeline to keep our guys safe.

However, on some occasions we have to use an extension vacuum pole. This pole has a camera on one end, and a monitor at the bottom. We are able to watch the vacuum end cleaning the gutters out from the ground.
This is not a flimsy little hobby vacuum though, it is a powerful Honda 4 stroke engine with an industrial vacuum.

All of the mess is collected in our drum as always and taken away.

Hi-Rise flood!
We were called out to a hi-rise building right in the middle of the city. A broken water pipe caused flooding in the subfloor of one of the shops.
We rolled out the vacuum hose and sucked up around 600 litres of water.
It is not our bread and butter type job, but we are always available to respond quickly and help out when we can.
