this place is awesome for the neighborhood. i goto this regularly on the weekends. they have vendors that come out from other boroughs so every week is a bit different. Also on sunday's they host the Bitcoin fair which is pretty cool. The first Bitcoin Fair in nyc.
If you're within walking distance, the Hester Street Fair is worth taking a walk through. You should be able to really take your time and look at everything in less than half an hour or so. There's usually some interesting arts and crafts and things with birds on the them and at least five or six booths towards the back with food vendors from around the LES.
It's only open on Saturdays (there's a sad flea market on Sundays) from April to October.
Most people come to Hester Street Fair for the food but there are a lot of good vendors here for clothing and items. My daughter liked the hipster hippie soap. It's homemade. This place is crowded but you'd get through all the vendors in half an hour as Hester Street is small.
Great fun. There are probably only a couple dozen tables but there's interesting stuff at every one of them. Not quite as professional as Williamsburg's Smorgasburg, but they have a great neighborhood vibe that more than makes up.
