Every single Google reviewer complaint seems to have to do with the cost of their goods and services. Nobody "insisted" that I get more expensive lenses or pushed on me the fancy "eye mapping" exam; I CHOSE to get both of these after they were explained to me in the significant detail that I ASKED for. Has nobody ever heard of: You Get What You Pay For? Docking one star for the length of time it took to receive parts of my eyeglass order. For the price they charge, they should do as Europtics does and throw in overnight shipping (in both directions, if needed).

We've gone to Family Vision Center a couple of years now, and we're very happy with their services. Wait times for visits are generally pretty short, and it's not hard to get an appointment. All the doctors and staff have always been friendly, patient, and helpful. They're good with both adults and kids. WRT contacts, they've been uncommonly skilled with my husband's specialized contact lenses for his astigmatism. With previous eye doctors, we've always had to go back and forth a few times to get the lenses half-way right, but so far they've been pretty good at getting the prescription spot-on the first time. WRT eyeglasses, we've had mixed but overall good experiences. With our daughter, they didn't try to push glasses on her before she truly needed them. Lens quality has always been excellent. They don't have the largest selection of frames, but they will write you a prescription so you can go elsewhere. We recently bought some glasses and were later disappointed in them (partly because we should have done more homework before picking frames), but they redid the glasses for us in another frame, charging us only the difference in the frame cost since we opted for a better-quality frame the second time around. We were extremely relieved that they had a policy in place for this sort of situation...

I took my 4 year old for an exam, and Dr. Loree was amazing with her! She was thorough, patient, and very informative about my daughters situation. The rest of the staff is amazing as well, and offer tons of knowledge and care when helping us pick the right glasses for an active 4 year old. Not only that, but when we had a problem, their optical manager Daniel came to the rescue and surprised us by taking care of my daughter's broken glasses even though the issue we had was not covered by the warranty. I have told my whole family about them, and I plan on going to see them when I need my eye exam this year. Another plus, was they have an awesome selection of high quality glasses that fit every budget. That was a concern of mine by going to a smaller outfit, but I was surprised how little I had to pay for the quality of glasses we picked out. Thanks Family Vision Center!

Last year I moved to the area and was looking for a new eye doctor for some new contacts. Staff is very friendly and the service was good, overall happy with the exam. My big detractor is the price. This was the first time I was charged for an eye exam, and a contact lens exam, and then went with the doctors recommendation for brand of contact, which was more also. Probably won't go back again simply based on economics. Great staff and exam, just proving to be beyond what I find affordable.

The exam was okay, but it does seem as though they push you to buy more expensive lenses etc,. I was there right at closing and called early the next morning to cancel my order. I left several message and no on called me back. Then when I did reach someone, I was told it was too late. Next time I need glasses/contacts I am definitely shopping around!

Exceeded my expectations with their customer service. I have been a happy patient for 10 years. Recently I had a small complaint and Dr. Robert promptly and personally addressed and resolved the issue. They truly care and appreciate their clients. I would recommend Family Vision Center to my family, friends, and co-workers.
