I have a new story up at Every Day Fiction. This piece is in memory of my mother, a very special person in my life.

May you be forever free from your fireworks.

Some excellent names on this month's list, and I'm proud to say that mine is among them! My story "Just Fireworks" is going live on the 15th, so be sure to keep an eye out for it. In the meantime, if you are interested in joining the excellent team at EDF, be sure to give this update a read. They've had a few staff changes recently and there are some positions available.

Exciting news! Flash Fiction Chronicles is hosting a contest for the very best of your short works. And, just like last year, I will be helping out as an advance judge as well as interviewing some of the winners. For more information, be sure to follow the link, or feel free to ask in the comments below. We look forward to reading your stories!

Hey everyone, I’m taking a brief interlude from Interdimensional Interviews to let you know I have a new article up at Flash Fiction Chronicles.

Having been a slush reader at EDF for around eight months now, and having been published there three times, I thought it might be helpful to share some pointers that I picked up along the way. So, if you’re interested in getting your flash published at Every Day Fiction, or other places for that matter (my advice applies to most publications), I’d love for you to check it out. And if you have any pointers of your own, feel free to share in the comments!
