The grocery store I frequent pretty much makes you walk down the baby stuff isle to get to the beer section. Accident or by design? I say...they do it on purpose!

This looks pretty freakin' rad but I wonder how the new road surface would be for motorcyclists. Looks slippery if it were wet.

The Toyo 'Rolla has...are you ready? New Radiator, thermostat, coolant, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, and a battery.Originally they were asking $750 for the car and we got them down to $500. The new parts cost just over $250 which comes to about the same as they originally wanted. It still needs struts in a BAD way and probably some brake work. By the end of summer it'll need new tires which are a whopping $38 each.

All the work today took us about 2.5 hours and with a bit more elbow grease we should be able to turn this 167k mile car into a 267k mile car in no time. The interior is in fairly good shape considering it cost us $500. I am VERY pleased with our purchase.

Bad photo but this is what happens when the wife is gone for one evening. I revert back to bachelor status.

Think it was time for new brake pads? These are the rears. The fronts had more life but still threw on a new set.

It's windy as hell but spending my lunch hour riding is something I've missed.
