Went for lunch, had the Crab Gyro. Good flavor but it was the tiniest Gyro I have probably ever had accompanied by a small handful of semi-shriveled fries with no sauce or catchup. For lunch it was shockingly slow service, the place had maybe a dozen tables full out of 30 (best guess) and it took at least 15minutes to get our food. Overall, good food, small portions, overpriced, and slow.

My co-workers and I stumbled on to Opa because every where else was packed in the area. We arrived around 6pm on Friday. It was the only place that was practically empty. The decor was nice but it was so quiet and empty we didn't know what to expect. the staff was very friendly and waited on us immediately. The drinks were good and not watered down. We all LOVED the fries! The sauce was delicious. Even after the fries were gone I scraped the plate of any left over sauce. We had a really good time. My only complaint was that they need more upbeat music during Happy Hour and the metal bar stools. I loved the height of them but very uncomfortable. They hurt your bottom. If they make it feel more Happy and get better seats it would be packed like all the other places around 13th and Samson.

I've read the reviews before visiting the place, I thought I will have a great Greek dinner with friend of mine, I must say I'm very frustrated with the food and slow service. Place is great, quite and well decorated although food is so simple and nothing special. We have waited for 45 min to get our foods and when it comes to table it was small and not expected at all. I will never ever visit this place again, maybe for just a drink!

If u want gyros pass on this place, where's the beef is right. You get plenty of fries which I could get for a fraction of the price at any street vendor. The waitress could not not have cared less about my being here - the only patron at 5pm on a Tuesday. Every other place around here was packed, I should have checked the reviews before coming into an empty place, was hungry for gyros but all I got really were fries and poor service relative to my other dining experiences in Philly. Boo!

Always great times at Opa, whether you're there for dinner or a drink from there innovative specialty cocktail list. Great spot for after dinner too, especially in warmer weather since they've turned the backyard into a beer garden.

During our visit to Philly, we wanted to eat in a Mediaterranean restauran. Opa was close to our hotel and had good reviews . The atmosphere was nice. The service was extemely slow although the place was not crowded. There was a single waitress taking care of the whole place. I ordered a gyro plate. The food was very disappointing: They literally served burned French fries with uncooked terrible meat.

Opa hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
