Busy day at my first horse show jumping comp in Cambridge NZ. I was lucky after talking to an organisor, I was able to get inside the arenas which allowed me to get to close..albiet to close for comfort :)

Not my strongest photographic genre, but when you have had clear blue skies during the day it's worth making the effort to head out at night.

"Navy Celebrations", Auckland Harbour hosted the 75th Anniversary of our NZ Navy this weekend. Participating where several other naval factions from around the world. The most colorful by far was the Indonesian Navy.

It's very easy to forget that it was not just Human life lost during the great war but also many animals suffered as well. Just from Matamata and Cambridge NZ alone i found out today that over 200 horses from this area went into service and shipped off to Europe, ........none returned
