this is a regular tetrahedron constructed from 4 congruent convex parts; the axis of rotation passes through the middle-points of two opposite edges of the tetrahedron (each part consists of 1 (green) + 1 (orange) + 3 (blue, pink & yellow) isosceles trapezoids plus a square, as faces); 4 yellow, 2 blue & 2 pink trapezoids plus the 4 squares are glued together (out) inside the tetrahedron..

Denne høsten begynner 60.000 nye forventningsfulle 6-åringer på skolen. De er vant til å bruke digitale verktøy for å utforske, underholde og lære. Vil skolen opprettholde læringslysten og nysgjerrigheten hos disse barna?

i'd like to see ipads in the classroom to make grading more efficient.  I could walk from desk to desk, checking their work and clicking as I go

How do you cut three disks from a given triangle such that their total area is maximized? The first solution proposed in history was the “obvious” solution with three mutually tangent circles (on the left). It appeared, however, that if you choose the incircle and the two biggest circles in the remaining places (on the right), the area is slightly bigger. The methods come closest to each other, to within 1%, in the case of an equilateral triangle.
