This was a pretty decent brewery, but it all depends on what you want out of your brewery experience. I've seen the upscale brewery type pubs that are dimly lit, filled with dark wood, and serve high end food such as truffle fries and so on. I've also been to the very industrial brewery type, here in Chicago actually. Goose Island. I've been to a few others as well in Sonoma County that are very classic and filled with wood. Definitely not kids places, but not super fancy. Rock Bottom is like a Brewery version of Chile's. This might sound like an insult, but I mean it in the sincerest way possible. It's casual, good selection of beer, decent selection of food, (although I am disappointed that they did not have a French Dip!) and is a decent experience. I ordered the Club Sandwich as well as the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Club was pretty good, no complaints. Pulled Pork- tasty, but I've had better and I felt like it was missing something. Definitely not a bad sandwich! Service was great, swift, and staff was friendly. This place was a good spot and since it was just down the way from our Hotel, I can't complain about pub food that is easy to get to. I could definitely see coming back again.

The nachos were great. The service was horrid. Our waitress treated us as if we were a burden. She would wait upwards of 30 minutes before coming to check on us. Forget about filling our drinks. Her attitude made us feel very unwelcome. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. Mostly because she took so long to take care of our table. The Nashville location is much more welcoming.

Came by here to watch the Stanley Cup Final game 1, Chicago vs. Tampa bay. This place is huge with 2 large dining areas and a large bar in each. Also, they have a rooftop beer garden, which is a great place to lounge with friends and enjoy a breezy cool evening in the windy city. My group started with some IPAs. I had a cocktail. We ordered guacamole and chips and buffalo wings for appetizers. The guacamole was fresh and the chips were made in house and not greasy and were crunchy. The buffalo wings had good buffalo sauce flavor. For our entrees we had the bacon cheddar burger, the bison burger and the guacamole tostadas. Food was tasty. Atmosphere was great. Our server was accommodating and kept our drinks full. Overall, great bar food, great beer.

Been here a bunch of times over the years. There is a nice, large rooftop deck and it's in a good central location, but otherwise this place is a typical tourist trap. The food is below average - heavy, not very tasty, and a lot of items seem premade. Most of the food on the menu is heavy on the fried/high carb/starchy aspect. There are so many other places to go in the neighborhood, why go here?

I probably had the best pizza in Chicago at this place. Maybe my expectations were very low when I visited for a late night snack whilst drinking with my friends. However, that "el diablo" pizza is amazing. The chorizo was excellent, ingredients were fresh, pizza dough was good. Very well done! pun intended.

I'm addicted to this place.. The best bar ambiance and best beer you can ever drink among a huge variety of options. Happy hours are very affordable and the food they sell is always of high quality..

Stopped in to grab a beer while on vacation and was pleasantly surprised by their roof top bar. Awesome summer weather turned our quick stop for a beer into a relaxing hour on the roof. Their IPA was solid, with a nice citrus scent to start and sharp, hoppy finish. We didn't get any food but the beer and atmosphere were great.
