Hip destination for Japanese grilled meats & sushi in a contemporary setting with patio seats.- Google
"The baked lobster roll was good so was the crab dynamite."
"Beautiful people" is an understatement."

I wasn't impressed. I get that its a "trendy" restaurant but, common you should treat all your customers with good service not just the ones that dress in the top name brand clothing lines. or the ones that come with the most expensive cars in the market. When I walked in with my wife the hostess looked us up and down and said 1 hour wait. we told her that we made reservations and she gave us attitude and asked us for our names. Someone walked in behind us and she immediately said hi Mr .... welcome follow me. That lady was rude. Wish I would have gotten her name. We ended up waiting 20 min (with reservations) and someone else came to seat us. The only reason why I'm giving the 3 stars is because the food was good. We had the Kobe beef skewers for appetizer. It was good the sauce was good. We also ordered a few rolls of sushi. The baked lobster roll was good so was the crab dynamite. Didn't have any complaints about anything other than the hostess. I personally would never come back here again.

I had the time of my life! I went 9/20/2014 for my Birthday dinner, and the food was amazing! The atmosphere was great! I will recommend the Pumpkin Cheesecake for dessert (yummy) I had a blast! I give Katana 5 Stars and 2 Thumbs up!!!! Great place! West Hollywoods treasure!

Great place for sushi and small Japanese bites! Definitely make a reservation! My co-workers and I had one, but they made us wait 20 minutes, even though the inside was fairy empty. Had their ebi bites (bacon wrapped shrimp)... Amazing! Tried their clam, miso soup, which actually had real clams in the soho, but it's very salty and huge... Couldn't finish it at all! Love their toro roll! A tad overpriced, but literally it melts in your mouth! Their dessert menu is only told in verbal and I tried all three: green tea tempura, chocolate lava cake and pumpkin cheesecake. Not a huge fan or cheesecake, but it was still amazing!

The service is not great in the restaurant, but at the bar, it's nothing but friendly service, professionalism, and expedience! Charity, bartender, has always provided excellent service to our feature film clients regardless of whom she knew she was serving. Thank you! Everyone you served left happy.

Their food is amazing. The Kani Maki is so good. Also, the Asupara (asparagus) on the robata grill and the Nasu Dengaku (Japanese eggplant dish) are mouth-watering. Their specialty drinks are worth trying as well.

We were sitting out on the large patio Saturday night and my wife and I said, "Look at all the perfect people here." It was as if every woman there was young, beautiful and skinny; even the waitresses. Just then, a stick-thin perfect looking blonde model walked in wearing a short dress. We both just cracked up laughing. Oh, the restaurant. The food was great. The people were super friendly (and beautiful) and s sweet. The atmosphere was just wonderful. We loved it and must come back again.

Good place to hang out pre- or post- the Sky Bar or House of Blues Foundation Room events. Nice to sit on the patio and people watch. Inside is nice, too. Only ever been here for drinks and appetizers - usually the conversation and people watching trumped all else. But convenient affordable class on the strip.
