We are particularly pleased to announce that diviz now has its own dedicated installers for the following platforms:
- Windows (both 32 bits and 64 bits),
- Mac OS X,
- Linux.

Each one installs a version of diviz with a new auto-update functionality: diviz now checks at launch time whether a new version is available, and when appropriate it offers to download and install the new version automatically.

PS: While we have tested them on all these operating systems, these installers being released for the first time may still have a few bugs; should you have any problem with them, please help us by contacting us and reporting the problem, so that we can help you installing the software and at the same time fix the installer.  Thank you!

We are pleased to announce that diviz v1.9.99, named «Gyruss», has just been released!

Among some new features and bug fixes, it gives access to one new Decision Deck XMCDA web-service: ElectreTri1GroupDisaggregationSharedProfiles, developed by O. Cailloux, that has been recently deployed and which allows to implement an Electre-like group decision aiding technique.

As usual, you'll find diviz at: http://www.diviz.org/download.html.

We're pleased to announce that diviz v1.8.2 has just been released!

Changes are the following:

- prg_generic: this service, which allows to execute programs locally on the user's computer, now proposes up to 10 possible inputs and 10 possible outputs (instead of 5, formerly).

- Fixed a bug that happened under special circumstances, where diviz clients running on Windows could not mix calls to remote web-services with calls to local programs.

As usual, it can be downloaded at: http://www.diviz.org/download.html

Design, execute and share MultiCriteria Decision Aid methods
Introduction

diviz is a software for designingexecuting and sharing Multicriteria Decision Aid (MCDA) methods, algorithms and experiments.

The goals of diviz are:

  1. to help researchers to construct algorithmic MCDA workflows ( = methods) from elementary MCDA components;
  2. to help teachers to present MCDA methods and let the students experiment their own creations;
  3. to help to easily compare results of different methods;
  4. to allow to easily add new elementary MCDA components;
  5. to avoid heavy calculations on your local computer by executing the methods on distant servers;
  6. to ease the dissemination of new MCDA algorithms, methods and experiments.
