My dad was 3 when India & Pakistan were partitioned & my grandparents lived through it. I can never begin to understand the pain they went through when they were forced to to relocate across new borders or face atrocities , simply because of their faith.

I fully understand this is an advertisement by and for Google - but I'll admit it's by FAR my favorite one Google's produced since I've been a part of the company. The conveyed emotion is very real; I'm proud of our company & the Google India team.

Google Analytics is now making it WAY easier to measure your goals. :) http://bit.ly/184ZdTV  #google #googleanalytics #measure #tracking
Just as physical stores need to keep track of their sales and in-store visits, businesses with an online presence need to understand how visitors are interacting with their site. Google Analytics provides tools to help understand and evaluate these interactions. For example, if purchases are ...

If any of you have browntastic friends, you've probably noticed that we're celebrating Diwali tonight. I'll spare you the long mythology - based explanation; this day is about recognizing the triumph of light over dark, which can be interpreted as good over evil, prosperity over poverty, etc. For me, it means a day to reflect, and a realization that although challenges & obstacles absolutely WILL come your way, each one is a chance to learn, overcome, and improve. I wish you all wealth up the wazoo, a life of laughing, and much, much love. Happy Diwali.

Imagine a place where your worries melt away.; Where you can't help but have a big smile plastered on your face like a fool for the entire duration of your stay. And then go ahead and triple that sense of satisfaction.

That doesn't even begin to describe my experience in the Outer Banks and with Twiddy & Co.

As a frequent traveler, I pay attention to (and most definitely appreciate) the little things. "Hospitality" is thrown out there quite frivolously in the travel industry, and I rarely meet anyone that even comes close to knowing what that means.

...that is, until I started renting with Twiddy & Company. Every single person at this company makes it their personal mission to ensure that your needs are taken care of. When you're on vacation, that little bit of extra effort goes a long, long way. Every interaction is an absolute pleasure when working with Twiddy & Co.

The house itself was beautiful & immaculate. If you can, rent a beachfront place - it makes all the difference.

It's been a few weeks since my trip out there, and I'm still talking about it almost daily. Twiddy & Co. makes an already beautiful place even better with their service & attitude. I'm at the point where I'll try to figure out ways to plan an extra long layover just so I get the opportunity to be in the vicinity of Twiddy and the Outer Banks.

In fact...I'm on a plane right now..... hmmmmm.....

I decided to go back to the Outer Banks this year for my vacation; again, Twiddy & Co. did not disappoint. The trip from California was a bit of a long one, as we decided to fly into Raleigh & then drive over. The group's collective excitement level went in cycles as we got off of the plane, got our rental car, snoozed, stopped at Bojangles for biscuits (which is a must), and finally crossed the bridges to the Outer Banks. We pulled into the Twiddy & Co. parking lot a bit earlier than the usual check in time, and were immediately greeted by two friendly Twiddy employees handing us bottles of water. After introductions, they informed us that our house was already ready for us! ...and what a house it was. I mentioned it before, but if you're somehow able to rent an oceanfront property, I highly recommend it. We got lucky this year, and scored one right next to the beach. By the time we got to the house, another amazing Twiddy employee was there waiting to show us around. My usual stressed out self asked a bunch of questions as to where we'd go to get groceries, where the extra sheets were, how to work certain features of the house, etc etc - she answered each and every dumb question of mine with a HUGE smile. After a quick tour, I went out to the balcony to look out; immediately, every single bit of pressure and stress went away. Throughout the entire week, the Twiddy staff were more helpful than I had even anticipated. Every call and email was met with an immediate response and resolution. As we left, they even waved us out! Renting from Twiddy & Co. was a special experience - it's not a traditional buyer/customer relationship, but rather one that reminds you of Family. Everyone was so accommodating, and each person wanted to make sure I was having a great time. They succeeded. As I mentioned before, I travel quite a bit for work. (possibly more than I should.) I'm met with various levels of hospitality depending on the city I'm in, and a good experience is absolutely a priority for me. Bottom Line: Twiddy & Co.'s service and hospitality exceeds those of 5 star hotels. Hands Down. I'll be back.
